(Reporting directly to the Financial Manager)
• Reviewing all payments prepared by branches’ accountants to be approved and signed from financial manager.
• Ensure better control over books of accounts, assets and liabilities.
• Liaise with various departments for setting up appropriate ledgers, proper accounting treatment through parameters and accurate reporting in compliance with IFRS.
• Assist in analyzing differences between actual budget salaries and forecasted salaries for more efficient planning.
• Assist in analyzing financial data and present to management for decision making.
• Ensure overall accuracy of books of accounts, and coordinate with external auditors until disclosure of financial statements.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of inter-company ledger accounts and Review bank reconciliation for all branches.
• Develop suitable MIS and reporting packs for various management & board meetings periodically.
• Produce periodic financial forecasts based on operational information and prepare annual budgets and business plans.
• Preparing the financial statements and year-end closing and adjusting entries.
• Maintain system efficiency and liaise with the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system supplier to resolve all problems reported by users and make development recommendations for future upgrades to meet organizational needs.
• Follow system updates, and provide periodical training to end-users.
• Exporting information from ERP and report to manager.
