JOB Responsibilities
➢ Knowledge in erection & commissioning of mill machinery, gantry & semi-gantry cranes (200t, 500t)
➢ Planning weekly work as per monthly erection schedule. Supply the inputs within the times for timely completion of jobs. Allocate the resources / facilities based upon the requirement. Allocate the workmen depending upon erection schedule. Ensuring quality & safe working practices complied with our safety requirements.
Reviewed and verified all work was in compliance with sales orders and customer requirements.
➢ Determine materials, tools and equipment needed for product orders. Inserted and positioned materials and clamped, spliced and fitted parts using hand and power tools. Operated welding, press brake, plate rolls, angle and channel rolls and shear. Retrieved correct materials from product inventory to perform various fabrication duties.
➢ Carefully organized, analyzed and prepared technical data reports to ensure proper workflow and productivity. Maintained safety by verifying compliance and assuring proper factory testing. Reviewing Steel Erection drawings.
➢ Checking civil foundations elevation before steel (columns / frames Erection) . Supervising ground assembly for main columns with beams to compose frames can be lifted and erected one time. Supervising erection of main steel girders and bracings between frames (with consideration of erection sequence) . Supervising alignment and bolt tightening for main members of the structure on the main Aligns and Axis before offering for inspection. Supervising erection of Dressing (erection of small beams, bracings, angles, C-Channels and other medium & light steel items) . Supervising balance bolt tightening and offering for final inspection.
