I work as a fulltime registered Nurse and reporting to the Charge Nurse. During this tenure I gained competencies to manage various medical surgical emergencies, pre and post operative care, and ward management as being a shift in charge. Apart from this other responsibilities includes complies with Nursing department Policies and Procedures, maintains confidentiality of medical records and participates in performance improvement activities within nursing department. Helps in controlling the visitor of patients as needed.
I worked as a full time staff nurse and supervised by the unit in charge. The responsibilities include, assessing the situation of given unit in relation to different types of patient’s care, facilities provided by the nursing personnel, identifies the patient’s need/problem. Attends Doctor’s rounds, Checks and carries out and delegates Doctor’s instruction and order after rounds. Participates and refers the patient for rehabilitation therapy. Keeps up-to-date record of drugs and maintains records of its administration. Checks and manages all equipment periodically, to see that it is in good order, Checks daily availability and conditions of emergency equipment, supplies, Maintains inventories, reports the breakages and losses.
I worked as a full time staff nurse and report to the nurse in charge. As a staff Nurse I am responsible to plan, implements and evaluates care given to assigned patients in an effective and organized manner, provides total care to the patients with preparation, administration and documentation of medication and maintains confidentiality of patient’s records. Also takes responsibility for the unit in the absence of charge nurse.

As a CCU nurse I administer all prescribed treatments and medications, while closely monitoring the patient's physical status and any behavior changes for the possibility of complications. Maintaining complete and accurate records on patient charts, administering medications, providing nursing care and making evaluation. Also assist in emergency procedures including cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and initiate emergency codes such as alerting the medical team of a patient's cardiac arrest and provide emotional support to patients and their families during the patient's stay in ICU.
