•Review the management reports, financial statements and regulatory reports and its compliance with the central bank requirements.
•Prepared the regulatory reports to the central bank, financial statements and management reports.
•Review / prepare the calculation of the bank Islamic profit distribution.
•Review / prepare the capital adequacy ratio according to Basel II and now the liquidity requirements, Liquidity coverage ratio (LCR), Net stable funding ratio (NSFR) and Leverage ratio (LR) as per Basel III.
•Design the accounting structure / schema and mapping of the bank’s new products according to AAOIFI / IFRS standards.
•Provide parameters and mapping for ADHOC reports within and outside financial control department on an ADHOC basis.
•Provide parameters and mapping for financial reports to facilitate smooth financial reporting according to the reporting standards.
•Coordinate with the external auditors and the central bank examiners to arrange for examination supporting documents and explanations.
•Analyze areas of reporting which can be improved or automated to facilitate better decision making.
•Participated in developing the chart of accounts, new product accounting to support the implementation of EQUATION core banking system.
•Responsible for all IT issues within financial control department.
•Defining business requirement to prepare parameter setup for Equation user defined reports
•Prepared the training materials required to deliver training courses within the bank such as Finance for non-finance managers, Accounting for bankers, Basic financial statements.
•Review of daily and weekly exception reports.
Prepared the Bank Financial Statements as well as the Central Bank of Egypt’s monthly reports.
Participated in developing & restructuring changing the entire work flow and business procedures of the bank to support implementation of EQUATION core banking system.
Analyzing & Defining business requirement to prepare parameter setup for Equation user defined reports (Financial position, General journals, Letters of credit, letters of guarantee, currency position balancing, Liquidity ratio, Central Bank of Egypt monthly development plan)
Design and implement training programs for the bank employee on using Equation applications.
Prepared the bank accounting structure and accounting mapping in the new system for the cashier system, Commercial papers, credit risk management, customer deposits, money market deals, collateral processing, manual postings, cheque processing, depreciation system and debit /credit cards.
Partially deputed in the internal audit department reviewing the Head office daily transactions
