• Preventive and Predictive maintenance / repairs and overhauling of Web press printing machines, NBG printographic machinery-30000IPH (printing machine), Manugraph-City Line Express- 40000IPH (Printing machine) and Lithographic machines, Plate punching and Bending machines.
• Maintenance and services of 100, 200, 400 and 500KVA generating plants (Generators).
• Maintenance and services of all Compressors, mechanical/electrical installations in the factory and PSV’s (pressure safety valves) calibrations.
• Pumps overhaul and repairs.
• Fabrication, Machining, and Repairs of all replacement parts for Rotating equipments.
• Vibration Analysis, Alignment, Dynamic and Precision balancing on all Rotating equipments.
• In charge of general workshop safety.
• General maintenance of other equipments, machines and installations in the factory.
• Trouble-shooting; Root cause failure analysis, Reporting and corrective action/recommendations to the senior maintenance manager.
• Inventory management; Safe keeping and custody of Spare parts and other mechanical accessories.
• Plant shutdown; Installation and Start-up, Quick turnaround. In coordination with the Maintenance Superintendent, schedules the repair, maintenance and installation of equipment, tools, machinery to ensure efficient plant operations. Develop and maintain files for the maintenance department (eg. drawings, checklists, maintenance history).
• Coordinate the monitoring, evaluation and modification of the preventative, predictive and proactive maintenance programs to ensure maximum equipment uptime and efficient use of resources. Assists with the development, implementation and audit of the preventative maintenance program.
• Administer the rules of conduct, health, safety standards to minimize injuries and lost time incidents. Proactively manages safety and health of employees to continuously improve the company’s safety.
• Ensure compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures, following guidelines, completing required training, and monitoring of metrics.
• Supervise maintenance crew, and training/toolbox meetings.
• Update shutdown plans while in outages and gather and track contractor costs on a daily basis. Actively participate in and facilitate outage review meetings.
• Hire and manage independent contractors; provide safety orientation to visitors and contractors.
• Oversee purchasing of parts, tools and maintenance supplies; reviews and approves POs and monitors costs. Maintain and keep the bill of materials (BOM) records up to date.
