Duties and Responsibilities include:
Handling projects by choosing suitable structural system, Carrying out required loads
on structures like gravity and lateral loads (Wind, Seismic static and dynamic, Temp,
etc.) and producing loading plans as per relevant codes.
Obtaining reasonable structural elements sizes by doing brief calculaions and creating
initial 2D&3D models and Performing full analysis and design for structural elements
using design programs, excel sheets and hand calculations as per relevant codes.
Preparing mark up drawings for CAD technicians and check it when completed.
Performing full design review, check of structures and value engineering.
Producing workshop drawings, BOQ as per relevant codes and standards.
Collaborating with team working and coordinating with other disciplines.
Attending internal and external meetings with clients and municipalities to present
structural scope of work and receiving their opinions and comments.
1- Handling projects by choosing the suitable structural and statical system.
2- Carrying out required loads on structures and performing structure calculations by creating 2D and 3D models using relevant codes and standards.
3- Applying Structural, Wind, Seismic analysis static and dynamic response for all mid-rise and high-rise structures using relevant codes and standards.
4- Performing structural design for different structural elements using relevant codes and standards.
5- Producing design and detailed drawings using relevant codes and standards.
6- Performing full design review using relevant codes and standards.
7- Producing workshop drawings using relevant codes and standards.
8- Producing detailed calculation sheet.
9- Producing Bill of Quantities and Specifications for projects.
10- Performing Coordination of projects with Architectural, Electro-mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing and Landscaping departments.
11- Attending internal meetings to perform coordination and squad check of projects.
12- Attending external meetings with clients to present structure scope of the projects and receiving their opinions and comments.
