1) Assess the current key and emerging Operational Risks, Key Risk Indicators, Scenario Analysis, Manager’s Control Assessment, Internal and External Loss Analysis as well as Risk Review to provide effective oversight.
2) Develop a detailed plan and milestones (including engagement with other functions) for executing on the ORM plan for strengthening oversight of business end-to-end processes.

8) Work with the ORM teams, Compliance and Business to craft Risk Appetite statement for Burgan Bank and its subsidiaries.
9) Review, challenge and evaluate the controls adequacy developed by the 1st LOD and recommend enhancements as needed.
10) Develop and implement the data mining and conceptual approaches necessary to establish robust leading indicators and metrics to identify areas of potential OR exposure and emerging risks to enhance loss anticipation and mitigation.
1) Ensure that all identified operational risks of each business unit are mitigated by adequate controls through proper Risk & Control Assessment across the group (Egypt, UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Jordan & Lebanon)
2) Conduct regular tests on controls effectiveness & process gaps and share results with senior management.
3) Design new policies and procedures for Operational Risk Management across the group.
4) Develop and manage the banks Operational Loss Events Database and Risk & Control Assessment Process with the aim of measuring operational risk as per Basel II.
5) Design entire Operational Risk reports - Key Risk Indicator Dashboard, Trend Analysis, Incident Action Planning, etc.
6) Follow-up and monitor all operational risk related actions identified through internal / external audits and regulatory reviews.
7) Report severity events and top risk processes to the BOD.
8) Identify process improvements and made recommendations to senior management, providing recommendations and corrective measures in any new or existing products or policies and procedures.
9) Design & execute EFG Hermes Business Continuity Plan (BCP) along with testing and refinement.
10) Updating and Implementation of Credit Libanais Bank Operational Risk policy to ensure best practices.
11) Advisor to senior management within EFG’s Fixed Income Trading business; responsible for risk assessment, communication of risk tolerance, capital efficiency strategies and limits management.
