Reporting to the General manager and Deputy General Manager
Conducting kick off meeting with concerned Project Manager, Site Engineer for each finalized project
Budgeting and scheduling the awarded projects
Taking enquiries from different suppliers or subcontractors within the contacts prior to transferring to purchase, preparing comparison statement and finalizing the contractor
Closely monitor the LPO’s and ensure the total purchase exists in budgeted value
Conduct site visit in progressive stages and preparing & reporting the progress of work
Estimate the value of work items not included in the contract and raises variations
Certify the work in progress and inform to the Concerned to raise the invoices (running bills)
Preparing the final bill statement and interfacing with the Client in finalizing the value and transferring the same to Accounts for Final invoice
Conduct joint measurement for the subcontractor’s completed work and finalizing & certifying their job value and transferring to Accounts for their final bill.
Assist in preparation of final project close out report
Maintain database of bills estimated quantities and accurate files, logs & records
Taking Quantities for fit out, interior and joineries works from Shop Drawings.
Preparing Bill of Quantities to specifications and requirements for Clients & Subcontractors
Tendering and cost estimation.
Comparison study and cross checking of different BOQ’s with Specifications and Drawings.
Responsible for all BOQ take off quantities, verifications.
Coordinating with Site Management for work progress requirements.
Collecting Price list from Local suppliers and inquiry for material price for tender quoting.
Preparing detailed Quantity Estimating and Quantity checking for Tender.
Site verification for as-built and material analysis for perfect quotations and exact modification process.
Preparing Bill of Quantity according to specifications and requirements.
Tender/Contract drawing cost comparison report.
Maintain close coordination with the construction team for taking measurements of work done.
Prepare sub-contract documents and work orders in accordance with the Company Management System Procedure
Preparation of shop drawings for manholes, chambers, gullies etc.
Preparation of Sewer manhole liner schedule, Storm water manhole schedule and bar bending schedules.
Raising Request for Information and tracking.
Preparations of thrust block design.
Liaise with Consultants and obtain material approval for the Project items.
Collect setting out details of sewer, drain lines from Surveyors and prepare setting out layout drawings, sections for the approval of consultant.
Submission of shop drawings, schedules, daily program etc. as per consultant’s requirements and maintaining the transmittal as evidence.
Control, update & maintain construction drawings through drawing control register, control stamp etc.
Control and issue of all documents, drawings, maintaining records as per QA/QC requirements.
Maintain updated records of all material submittals, approvals related to the Project/ Contract.
Deal with approved suppliers and issue necessary technical specifications for the procurement of materials.
