Michael Elias

As a head of ERP, my role is to build and orchestrate a robust ERP
team specialized in Oracle E-Business Suite - the world-wide most
advanced and leading ERP system - in addition to Odoo - the leading
Open-source ERP system. Managing analysts, senior developers, DBAs
to better serve our esteemed customers.
Directing and managing tens of implementation projects for large scale
enterprises with different industries ranging from Manufacturing,
financial services, telecommunications, transportations, Medical, …etc.
Directing and managing the development team to support our
customers with enhanced and tailored features and grow our own ERP
modules on Oracle and Odoo Platform.
My Mission is to provide the Syrian market with a Robust ERP System,
easy to implement and use with affordable cost.
Key Contributions:
1. Implementation of Odoo ERP & CRM in different sectors:
Manufacturing, Trading, Services, Healthcare and
pharmaceutical, Distributions, …etc.
2. Development of Many extensions to enrich Odoo experiences
and features to accommodate customer needs and localize Odoo
to Syrian Market in terms of Syrian legislation and financial
requirements.
3. Building a robust Odoo business, development and technical
support team to achieve customer satisfaction and successful
implementation.

Focusing on the importance of ERP, I have Restructured and expanded
the ERP unit to build a robust ERP team able to support and
administrate the ERP system (oracle E-Business Suite) as well as
implementing new modules, introducing new features, customizing the
system to fit emerging business needs.
During this period, we have achieved several strategic objectives and
completed many important projects.
Key Leadership contributions:
1. In 2016, We Upgraded Oracle e-Business suites to Latest Release
12.2.4.
2. Also in 2016, We Implemented Oracle Order Management to
Automate the process of material request from warehouses all
through a smooth workflow in an easy way.
3. In 2017 and 2018, we Implemented Assets tracking system that
Improve Asset Visibility, allow better Tracking and Control with a
Global Single Asset Repository and Streamline and Asset creation
and Manage end-to-end Procure to Retire process
4. In 2018 and 2019 we did a major enhancement to HRMS
processes by enabling Oracle Payroll RetroPay ®, enhancements
in recruitment website, also in performance and talent
management and implemented Oracle compensation workbench.
5. In Parallel, we implemented Oracle iSupplier to ease the
registration, management and evaluation of suppliers.
6. In 2019 we upgraded Oracle EBS to latest release 12.2.7
7. In addition to smaller projects in Oracle Inventory including
Automating Items inspection process, Items reservation and Min
Max Planning.
8. New Installation and implementation of Oracle Financials for a
related company.

Starting early 2007 I have established and managed The ERP unit by
defining the structure and scope, job descriptions, policies, KPIs,
processes and procedures in addition to developing standards for
development, outsourcing, implementation and integrations between
systems. I Managed the following Key ERP Projects:
1. Upgrading Oracle Financials and Migration of the application and
database from windows to Sun Sparc Platform.
2. Implementation of Oracle Human Capital Management system
and migration from legacy HR systems.
3. Re-implementation of Oracle Purchasing and Inventory to cope
with the increasing business needs and properly manage the
supply chain.
In parallel, in 2009 I Managed and led the expansion of the Unit to
focus on in-house development as strategic option for cost saving,
minimize supplier dependency and faster response to emerging
business needs for tailored software applications and integrations with
other enterprise platforms. I will list some of the major and key
development we did in the period 2009 - 2016

As a project Manager I have managed and led several Software
Applications development and implementation Projects using latest
technologies and following worldwide proven standards. in addition to
managing the ERP System - Oracle Financial and HRMS System -
HITS.NET, My role was expanded in 2005 and 2006 to manage many
projects in term of delivery, time, budget and Quality:

and prepared teaching materials and course outlines, prepare,
administer and mark tests in addition to supervise independent or
group projects.

Reporting to the Application Manager I have administrated Oracle
Financial 11i and I have designed and delivered the integration with
Syriatel major systems.
• As an Oracle Applications 11i Administrator I was responsible of
the following: Installing, configuring, cloning, patching,
maintenance, backup, archiving, performance tuning the
Production, Test and Development Instances.
• As an Oracle Applications 11i Developer I delivered Reports and
concurrent programs Customization; GL, CM and FA interface.
• Design and Development of Oracle GL Interface with Billing
System, Prepaid system and HR System.
• Design and Development of Billing Interface with Service
Provisioning system.
• Design and Development of API Interface between Syriatel CRM
and Billing system.

Reporting to the Project Manager I played I central role in the
Implementation, customization and technical support of Computerized
Maintenance Management System-CMMS in four Syrian factory using
C++ and Oracle.
