Responsible for supporting the company's SME clients at all levels as part of a helpdesk team. Ensuring that all hardware and software are configured and installed correctly.
Serves as the Area of Responsibility (AOR) technical expert for the local infrastructure including systems administration, network administration, desktop hardware, peripherals, laptops, approved wireless communication devices, VTCs, Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software and corporate application software.
Serves as subject matter expert (SME) and participates in a wide variety of automation projects with an emphasis on the local infrastructure, communications devices, server administration, desktop hardware, software, applications, utilities and peripherals.
Provides effective and efficient troubleshooting and technical expertise to both IT customers and LAN Administrators in order to resolve complex problems for network communications, desktop hardware, mobile devices and software.
Develops, maintains and distributes ITD/Sector technical standards and procedures for the operation and maintenance of the network/system infrastructure, desktop, mobile and peripheral assets.
Responsible for moderately complex installations, configurations, upgrades and troubleshooting of the local communications physical layer, including inside/outside plant cabling consisting of fiber optics, CAT5/6, copper medium, modems, etc.; hardware/software components, both networked and stand-alone, to include: switches, routers, firewalls, WAN optimizers, modem devices, etc; and coordinates from cradle to grave all local wireless services/hardware to meet existing and emergent customer requirements.
Responsible for moderately complex installations, configurations, upgrades and troubleshooting of networked hardware and software systems to include: servers, specialty and terminal servers (access control system), printers, Microsoft and Virtualized operating systems.
Provides technical assistance to agency employees in support of network server, file share, cloud computing and software issues.
Installs, builds, backs-up, and administers these systems and environments.
Develops and implements local and Sector operational procedures.
Identifies systemic issues related to the LCM of hardware/software and initiates appropriate corrective actions to resolve issues to ensure normal operations and deployments are restored as soon as possible.
Manages local accounts, network rights and access to systems, data, and equipment.
Manages systems resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability and recoverability.
Manages the Sector Life Cycle Management (LCM) program.
Develops Sector wide hardware requirements, plans and schedules for the deployment, distribution, installation and removal of new, modified and legacy ITD telecommunications and network equipment, hardware (desktop, mobile devices, and peripherals), operating systems, and software in support of ITD established LCM concepts and principles.
Responsible for all warehouse operations activities including shipping and receiving, deliveries, coordinating stock, documenting warehouse transactions, maintaining records, and overseeing storage of surplus inventory and property for the Ships.
Responsible for overseeing a wide variety of warehouse activities including shipping and receiving raw materials and/or finished goods and maintaining inventory and associated records. People management responsibilities include hiring and training, planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems.
" Responsible for receiving and issuing of materials, products, supplies and/or scrap from warehouse based on official documents/forms raised, e.g. RR, ADR, MRIS, TOS, DR, etc.
" Ensures physical movements of inventories in/out warehouse tallies with quantities indicated on the said official documents/forms before signing-off on the forms.
" Prepares receiving tally sheet in a complete, accurate and timely manner, for all materials, products, supplies and/or scrap, received from other internal or external parties.
" Prepares materials/products to be issued/delivered as per properly filled-out requisition forms or delivery forms; Issues out materials/products in an expedient and efficient manner and signs-off on the form accordingly.
" Ensures all processed transaction forms are transmitted to the Admin Assistant / MAS 500 encoder in a timely and complete manner for inventory encoding into the MAS 500 system.
" Ensures warehouse under his/her charge is kept clean, orderly, organized, safe and secure, at all times.
" Ensures that all storage racks/cages/bins are clean, secured, undamaged, properly-labeled and easily accessible.
" Ensures items are stacked properly and securely to facilitate implementation of FIFO dispatch/withdrawal.
" Updates bin cards completely, accurately and on a real time basis.
" Conducts periodic cycle-count of inventory items in accordance to approved schedules; Compares/reconciles physical quantity vs. bin cards.
" Supervises warehouse helper in the receiving, piling/stacking, dispatch/issuance and/or transfers of materials/supplies; maintenance of good warehouse house-keeping; updating of bin cards; and conduct of periodic cycle-counts.
" Trips pipe using slips, tongs and elevators,
" Lines up choke or kill manifold and makes connections while drilling,
" Acts as Flag Crane Operator when Operator cannot see loads,
" Monitors hole fill-ups while pulling out of hole,

" Checks for leaks on BOP stack, Inspects BOP's daily.
" Keeps oil level right (drawworks and rotary table),

Maintain the system and NOS application that run under the company. Maintains and tracks network connectivity.

Coordinates to Saudi ARAMCO IT Specialist for connecting workstation thru network from the following sites; Exploration Crews, Offshore and Onshore Drilling Rigs, Bulk Plants & Boats, by Satellite links that run about 128Kbps to 256Kbps.
Tracks all sites for encountering loss connection.
Attend all training & seminars under Saudi ARAMCO. Familiarize in using SAP R/3 for issuing trouble ticket and coordinate to PMT, Foreman and Contractors for all possibility loss connection.
Manage and maintain computer operating systems software computer program libraries and disk allocation.
Supervise and support the installation maintenance and administration of operating systems and software.
Evaluate the latest hardware and software for the corporation.
