Prepare and implement the annual Budget for the supply chain function
Ensure all functional and individual KPI’s across the function are in-line with the 1, 3, 5, year strategic plans;
Plan and implement strategies to ensure customer satisfaction through Lean Supply Chain management practices;
Use best available technologies to plan the best use of resources across the function ensure cost effectiveness at all times;
Manage all schedules to ensure the suppliers are delivering quality service to the company. Additionally Manage the Demand planning schedules to ensure availability of materials;
Monitor and plan the use of the warehouse resources ensuring correct storage conditions are maintained to preserve material quality;
Provide timely follow up and information to internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with strategic plans, KPI’s and operational concerns;
Plan and implement a structured meeting schedule for all stakeholders to ensure all are up-to-date at all times on the status of the organisational performance, projects and people performance;
Plan and review all operational excellence projects to ensure continual improvement;
Ensure monthly performance reports are prepared and issued to the Head of Operations including;
o Monthly utilization of resources;
o Monthly Demand planning performance and updates;
o Monthly complaints or issues faced;
o Possible expenditure/CAPEX requirements in the near future;
o Monthly KPI performance analysis;
o Update of any ERM and Internal Audit activities;
Monitor the performance of all teams against expected criteria and implement improvement plans as required;
Implement cost reduction projects across the warehouse functions ensuring effective utilization of resources
Ensure all expenditure is within planned budgets;
Ensure all human capital requirements are managed to ensure availability in-time to supply services to the customer;
Supply chain operations monitoring and improvement implementing including;
o People management (recruitment, performance, engagement and separation);
o Process efficiency across warehouse function to ensure the right people are in the right place doing the right thing at all times;
o Demand planning to ensure all resources in warehouse, production and installation are utilized.
1- Sourcing and purchasing, including placement and management of purchase orders, for all assigned projects.
2- Managing inventory & inventory levels.
3- Responsible for stock allocation & delivery tickets.
4- Negotiation of pricing, delivery, and other purchase terms and conditions.
5- Managing the stock & generating stock reports.
6- Forecast weekly/daily supply and demand per assigned shipping location, and use analysis is daily decision making.
7- Following up on all open orders and updating GP.
8- Creating and managing the weekly operations open order report.
9- Evaluate new sources of supply and make recommendations.
10- Develop deep market knowledge of the products and services purchased to support the operations.
11- Understand Purchase Order Terms and Conditions. Negotiate exceptions on an order by order basis.
12- Verify the shipping documents and freight rates.
13- Execute all suppliers’ correspondences.
14- Plan & prioritize daily follow-up actions.
15- Managing warehousing operations.
1- Requesting quotations from the overseas offices and setting selling rates for the clients.
2-Sending the shipping instructions to the overseas offices as per the client's request
3-Advising the clients about the best and worst scenarios and giving guidance to ensure the freight
delivery on the right time. at the right place, in an appropriate conditions according to their budgets.
4-Uploading data on the system to make sure that the instructions are followed and to keep records for the shipments.
5-Communicating with the airlines to get the best rates for exports.
