2010 to 2011: Operations Manager (ALLIED RELOCATIONS)
To provide supervision, training and support to SUPERVISORS, CONTRACTORS and teams in order to optimized and compliment their field activity.
To ensure all International/Local & Business Relocation removals are packed and loaded for shipping or store within designated time span. To ensure that all jobs are packed and loaded according to standard procedures thus eliminate or minimizing transit damage.
To log and to record all job schedules (Imports, Exports, Local Moves, LCL, Air Freights) and to make sure that all the required packing materials, crew leaders, packers and vehicles are on time and that the timeline given had been executed accordingly.
To do the daily diary schedule for all the jobs ahead of time and carefully assigning all operation crew and vehicles on a regular basis.
To closely monitor and find solutions for the problems that might occur on all daily jobs.
To train newly hired packers, make sure that their skills are on the top level of company requirement and standard.
To monitor and make sure that all rates are competitive and based on different quotations given by the shipping companies and that containers are ordered on their scheduled date. To make sure that after the completion of each job, all documents processed and the shipping of the goods to their destination countries are all prepared.
To monitor and to make sure that all shipments are updated .To log all the details ETA, ETD, vessel and voyage number and total number of items and to make sure the volumes of the shipments are correct. To send all the necessary documents and all pre-alerts to the destination agent, making sure to expedite the release of the shipments on time.
To do surveys for export or local removal jobs that require special attention or special skills and to check volumes, special equipments, number of days needed and see what is required to make the process flow smoothly on the actual date of the move.
