• Operations
o Manage on day to day basis the effective operation of the video surveillance control room ensuring compliance with codes of practice including subject access, storage and release of video footages, recording of incidents, audit of operation and repair and maintenance.
o Manage an effective and efficient video surveillance operation of the control room and associated monitoring, installation and maintenance contract
o Manage and develop the current system operationally and strategically to ensure its long term financial viability, including the harnessing of developing technologies and new applications of technology related to and alongside video surveillance.
• Technical
o Manage the functionality and efficiency of complex security systems. Setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software, validating and implementing critical system patches, and allocating mass storage space.
o Interacts with clients and evaluates vendor products. Recommend hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
o Schedules, plans, and oversees all system upgrades.
o Develops functional requirements through interaction with end-users and coordinates with the installation and maintenance and support teams on systematic enhancements or changes.
• Procurement
o Responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services and managing vendors to be able to perform strategic activities and negotiates favourable payment terms.
• Inventory
o Responsible for evaluating suppliers, manage inventory documents, track and maintain adequate stock level.
• Estimation and Proposal
o Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
• Finance
o Responsible for the collection and preparation of accounts. Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
• Manage ICT and telecommunications systems from the design up to final commissioning in conformance with end client requirements, specifications and regulations.
• Supervise key personnel in ensuring work is done properly, on time and within budget.
• Facilitate meetings with internal and external customers with regards to project progress, status and issues.
• Key responsible to project’s breakdown structure, actionable activities, dependency, resources, quality criteria, and benefits.
• Deliver well defined financial plan with management a project budget with timely and accurate invoicing and monitoring receivable
• Review and respond to all technical and commercial tender documents requirement
• In-charge with pre and post tender stage requirement for any Bill of Quantity related revision and clarification.
• Conduct technical review, propose optimized solution and make value engineering proposals.
• Prepare vendor REQ's and obtain competitive material/equipment prices, lead times and specifications
• Prepare estimate accuracy basis scope of work description flow sheets, key assumptions, estimating methods, major undecided alternatives, historical data, estimate exclusions and uncertainties.
• Prepare clear price quotation for management approval in timely matter.
• Manage and supervise the SCADA Support unit works for Electrical networks on SCADA Master Stations and to ensure delivering a high quality of SCADA services
• Provides support in maintenance, troubleshooting and failure analysis of wide range of instrumentation and associated control systems such as PLCs, DCS, SCADA system.
• Supervises the installation, maintenance, repair and testing of a wide range of electric, electronics, pneumatic and microprocessor based analytical instruments and process analyzers; instrument equipment and associated control systems
• Track equipment condition, performance, propose refurbishment plans, procure spares, analyze and resolve abnormalities, detect and address process gaps for the optimum utilization of assets and to enhance the system reliability & cost effectiveness
• Design, document, implement and maintain essential SCADA and control systems and components for electric power and distribution networks.
• Provide appropriate and timely technical advice on matters relating to SCADA and control systems.
• Carry out duties in accordance with company’s safety, environmental and quality policy, safety principles, corporate values and strategies.
