I joined this company and was assigned at King Abdullah Financial District Community Project (Wadi, Area 303 and Grand Mosque) to implement, maintain and improve the performance of machineries & systems, procurement of electrical items, tools, etc. and lead the team of technicians in their daily routine activities.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Maintain corrective and preventive maintenance records of electrical and low-current systems (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, BMS).
• Responsible for repair, modification, upgrade and testing of non-working systems such as water feature (fountain systems) and UV sterilization system.
• Responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and security of all tools, equipment and personal protective clothing and shall be responsible for conducting an annual inventory of the same.
• Develops, establishes, recommends, and enforces safety practices applicable to electrical systems.
• Maintain, test, and certify electrical supply networks including power distribution boards, panels, facilities, receptacles, lighting switches, cables/wiring, electric motors, electric pump stations, and equipment.
• Manage a team of electricians to ensure all work is repaired and installed to the highest standards in accordance with the applicable electrical standards.
• Performs other work as required including assisting other trades.
• Consulted with clients & superiors on progress and issues.
I joined this company and was assigned at Shop/Laboratory to perform and experiment various alternative sources of energy. Part of the contract consists of design, research, and implementation of assigned projects as per stakeholder instructions.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Perform various engineering research and solutions, prototyping and testing.
• Record daily lab notes and weekly executive engineering report for stakeholder project notes and status reporting.
• Lead all aspects of electrical engineering for all products during duty in project.
• Rendering 3D designs using Blender tool.
• Performing ad-hoc tasks that maybe assigned in accordance with business needs.
• Research in electrical engineering in terms of alternative power generation, battery storage and other related disciplines.
I joined this company and was assigned at different projects at different locations. Focal point of being senior testing & commissioning engineer and quality control engineer at the same time required documentation, evaluation, inspection and testing of GERI MEPFS facilities. Projects involved were the following:
Upgrade design, evaluation, installation and testing/commissioning of STP systems of Twin Lakes Hotel (Laurel, Batangas) and Holland Park (Binan, Laguna)
Standby diesel generator synchronization of Holland Parks 1 & 2
LV switchgear switching and energization at Southwoods Mall
Testing and commissioning of fire alarm, CCTV systems at Twin Lakes Hotel
Testing and commissioning of staircase pressurization and smoke extraction fans (SMEF) at Twin Lakes Hotel.
Testing and commissioning of BMS (Building Management Systems) Twin Lakes Hotel.
Duties and responsibilities:
Develop and provide all testing and commissioning forms for all MEPFS system.
Review and comment all the MEPFS engineering design drawing and project specifications.
Review and comment on all MEPF contractor’s installation and testing method statements.
Attend all the testing and commissioning of all GERI’s projects.
Develop and improve method statement/work procedures for all MEPFS system as GERI’s guidelines for implementing the testing and commissioning guidelines.
Prepare general condition survey prior start of the testing and commissioning activity.
Prepare punch list reports and determine corrective measures for on-site problems.
Interacts with contractors and stakeholders, interprets design and specifications.
Assist and mentoring of fellow quality control engineers at site with regards to practiced standards, non-compliance reports (NCR), request for information (RFI), request for site inspection (RFSI), Project Turnover (PTO), etc.
Performs routine calculation.
Performs various administrative duties and other duties as assigned.
