Elemento Group is a UK Property Investment and Property Development company that provides a turnkey service from finding the initial sites and undertaking the required surveys through design and construction to completion.
• Direct purchasing and procurement evaluation for all the projects
• Conducts interviews with vendors in the UK & Overseas.
• Negotiating with suppliers/manufacturers to achieve the best total value procurement.
• Managing supplier and vendor contracts throughout the system.
• Monitors the company purchases, deliverables and the whole supply chain of Elemento.
• Developing Purchase Orders in final form for approval and signature.
• Drafting and maintains a complete Purchase Order file in accordance with written guidelines and defined processed to support the complete procurement cycle.
• Receives and reviews purchase requisitions (PRs) for clarity, compliance, detail, completeness, and acquire additional information considered necessary from all project site involved.
• Conducts analysis of responses to solicitations, to include price comparison, conformity to Statement of Work, delivery terms, payment terms, and other terms and conditions of the procurement process.
• Proposing to requestor comparable product substitutions consistent with the requirements to achieve cost savings.

• Primarily supported the Purchasing Department in the whole cycle of the Tender Process, defined the negotiation strategies with buyers and the whole supply chain team to ensure company’s value interest are protected.
• Managed vendor qualification process that yielded positive results in both supplier quality, cost and time performance.
• Through effective communication and negotiation skills, we were able to resolve critical technical issues with all stakeholders and negotiated the best possible price and terms.
• Oversaw the integrity of inventory data and vendor files in our Smart Bid system and responded to inquiries.
• To ensure compliance to international best practice, conducted periodic auditing with all suppliers.
• To keep abreast with engineering standards, liaised with local authorities (RTA, DEWA, DM, etc.) for submission and approvals.
As Estimation Engineer
• As detail-oriented engineer, provided major support to Commercial Department to generate and respond to queries relating to Bill of Quantities (BOQs), quotations, offer letters and other technical documents to meet requirements of internal and external customers.
• To ensure business objectives are met, reviewed thoroughly tender documents (drawings, specifications, BOQs, etc.) and provided technical insights during tender process and provided updates to different departments.
• Timely prepared practical project delivery plans/schedules for accurate estimation.
As Purchasing Engineer
• Responsible for effectively managing the planning, forecasting, and purchase of all formwork and scaffolding materials.
• Analyzing weekly material purchase reports versus the budgeted expense and implementing appropriate policies to reduce overall cost for current projects in the pipeline.
• Highly involved in the development of new systems for material monitoring and supplier categorization for the entire department.
• Optimized the use of customized computer program to manage the incoming and outgoing of materials in our yard.
• Responsible for structural glass quotations and glass stocks optimization
• Updating production and work schedule using Excel
• Documentation of glass inquiries and quotations report
• Handling incoming inquiry through phone or walk-in customers
• Daily interactions to sales personnel regarding glass prices/stocks
• Reporting directly to the Chief Estimator and Marketing Director
• Overall in-charge for all running projects for the company.
• Responsible in manpower scheduling and allocation of works.
• Daily execution of works and supervision of workers at site.
• Site coordination with the main contractor, consultant and engineers to ensure smooth execution of the projects involved.
• Initiate critical decision and problem solving for various projects.
• Maintain a professional service and commitment to the current project being supervised.
• Deliver quality work on a timely basis ensuring client satisfaction.
• Estimation & pricing of GRC & GRP structural moulds.
• Planning of work schedules using MS Project & Excel
• Preparation of tender documents and bills of quantities.
• Review project plans, AutoCAD plans & material specifications.
• Coordinates with fellow surveyors for claims, variations and for changes in the bills of quantities.
• Prepares payment certificates and progress billings on a monthly basis.
• Represent the company in all meetings to provide project development updates in relation to material changes, bills and costs.
• In-charge in preparation of estimates, take-offs & BOQ’s
• Site visitation and supervision of erection works if required.
