1. Confer with Clients and Other Members of the Engineering Team and conduct research to determine Projects Requirements.

2. Follow up with Project Managers and Contractors on the application of defined Construction Specifications and Procedures to guarantee best quality within set deadlines.

3. Follow up on The Design Phase as follows:

a- Obtain As Built Drawings based on field surveys and send to Principle’s Architect along with Landlord Design Criteria Manual.
b- Verify and Study Architectural Design Drawings meeting guidelines and specifications before submitting to the Landlord for his review and approval.
c- Communicate Design Drawings with Contractors and prepare documents needed by him to submit his Tender for the Construction Projects.
d- Analyse and review Contractors submitted Tenders to award to the best offer.
e- Review Contractor Submitted Reflected Ceiling Drawing and Electro-Mechanical Drawings in Full coordination with the Architectural Drawings.
f- Establish the most appropriate Construction Works Schedule for the best interest of the Client.

4. Follow up on the Construction Phase as follows:

a- Supervise Works in Progress in terms of Quality and Speed of Execution.
g- Conduct site visits to monitor the Progress of Stores Construction in conjunction with the approved Construction Works Schedule.
h- Analyse Interim and Final Contractor Submitted Quotations to Perform Payments.
i- Benchmark Stores Items Pricing with Market to stay aware of best materials at the best cost and stay aware of local competitor’s actions.
j- Evaluate and recommend appropriate Building and Construction Materials.
k- Ensure that best Quality and Cost Control are obtained.

5. Supervise approved budget expenditure and assess performance against set goals in order to ensure effective cost control.

6. Source Contractors in New Markets/Countries where AZADEA is opening New Stores and verify their Quality of Works and Cost.

7. Identify coming Projects and make sure that Department Managers are aware of the New Engineering Concepts via draft of Preliminary Schedule and Target CAPEX.

8. Assign and manage Human Resources (Project Managers, Engineers and Technicians) in various Countries depending on the Expansion and the volume of works related.

9. Liaison with various Country Managers, Brand Managers, Regional Logistics Managers, Procurement Managers and Real Estate Managers during the whole Construction Process in each Country.
