i had to fix so many things mechanical to electrical and make new ideas alive from adding projector and small garden to have some fresh vegies and a website / address on google maps, and Airbnb account other... the hostel situation is going up and my country situation is going down and its very hard to get the simple things.
after all the problems i am facing i always keep my customers happy.
As commercial diver in a Turkish system with different culture, backgrounds and language it was the hardest toughest and challenging experience I had in my life and I am proud of myself.
Daily work :
• preparation for any dive operation
• equipment maintenance / clean up / polishing rusted gears
• engine check up / maintenance / refueling each month
• seaman duties
• learning Turkish if i had free time
Dive operation:
• type : pressure washing / scarper, welding, inspection, chain removal, assistant divers, propeller brush
cleaning.
• tender work help the divers to be prepared before we arrive to any ship operation
• umbilical assist
• get anything to the diver needs from tools to materials
• polishing metal parts for welding to make the current go smother / cutting pieces as the divers
demands the measurements
other duties : translating with captain of the ship client to my supervisor
