Responsible for operational management of the Tanzania branch office including preparation of proposals for a number of major projects often financed by international funding agencies and the overall management, liaison with clients and local authorities of the Firm’s branch in Tanzania, projects and contracts management, coordination activities between the different parties involved in projects in these countries (Clients, companies, etc.); business development activities including scope of work development, estimating and proposal preparation; recruitment of

▪ Consultancy Services for different projects at Bole International Airport, Ethiopia. Design and design
review services, tender documents and supervision of construction for several packages related to the
expansion and development of airport facilities and infrastructure components, including apron,
maintenance work stands, fire- fighting systems for the existing engine shop and Hangars 3 and 6, engine
run-up area, and central store in addition to a 5-star hotel and residential development.
▪ Consultancy Services for Study and Design of Storm Water Drainage System and Preparation of Drainage
& Sanitation Development Plan (DSDP) for Mwanza City for a Period of 2020-2040.
▪ Consultancy Services for National Hydrogeological Aquifer Mapping.
▪ Provision of Consultancy Services for Preparation of Strategic Environmental and Social Appraisal (SESA)
for Integrated Water Resources Management and Development (IWRMD) Plans for Internal Drainage
Basin, Ruvuma and Southern Coast Basin, Lake Tanganyika Basin, Lake Nyasa Basin Lake Rukwa Basin and
Wami/Ruvu Basin.
▪ Consultancy Services for Reviewing and Updating Existing Feasibility Study, Preliminary Design, Detailed
Design and Preparation of Tender Documents for Construction of Maruhubi Port of Zanzibar.
▪ Consultancy Services for Carrying Out Design Review and Construction Supervision for Rehabilitation of
Wete-Chake Road (22.1km) in Pemba Island, Zanzibar.
▪ The Provision of Consultancy Services to Support the Preparation and Implementation of the Dar Es
Salaam Maritime Gateway Program (DMGP).
▪ Consultancy Services for Carrying Out the Review and Update of the Masterplan for Mangapwani
Multipurpose Port and Related Facilities.
Major tasks included maintaining project documentation, such as plans and reports, assigning tasks and controlling schedules, communicating the project’s progress to team members and other stakeholders, managing the project’s budget, Day-to-day liaising with project managers, coordinating meetings and overseeing other members of the project team, tracking and communicating project risks and opportunities, looking for ways to increase the project’s profitability and reduce expenses where possible, ensuring deadlines are met, organising and attending stakeholder meetings, and providing administrative support to the following projects:
▪ Rehabilitation of Tunguu - Makunduchi, Fumba - Kisauni and Mkoani - Chake Roads, Tanzania.
Feasibility studies, detailed design and tender documents for the rehabilitation and upgrading
(including a dualisation option) of three single carriageway roads of a total length of 103.5 km.
▪ Zanzibar Airport Master Plan and Land-Use Plan for Abeid Amani Karume International Airport,
Tanzania. Review of the current situation, assessment of airport needs, and cost estimation for the civil
aviation infrastructure, covering airfield, heliport, air traffic control, airspace and navigation
equipment, communication equipment, and weather systems.
▪ Consultancy Services for Pemba Airport, Tanzania. Feasibility study, master plan, preliminary
design, detailed design and preparation of tender documents for the rehabilitation, upgrading and
extension of the runway and related service buildings.
The Exchange - Accra, Ghana
▪ Supervised the various structural site activities including reinforcement, formwork, waterproofing and
concrete works.
▪ Reviewed structural and architectural material submittals.
▪ Reviewed structural and architectural design and shop drawings.
▪ Inspected the material delivered to site.
▪ Prepared progress and quality reports.
Jubail Bulk Plant
▪ Supervised and managed the mobilization phase of the project in terms of site offices, laydown area and
utilities.
▪ Estimated and requested the manpower and material required to conduct the mobilization of the project.
▪ Planned, managed, and supervised the construction of 12, 2 story Buildings.
▪ Handled a Pre-Cast Substation Building from shop drawings revision and approval to erection.
▪ Requested and followed up the delivery of all the material related to the structure and finish of the
buildings.
▪ Reviewed IFC drawings and issued technical queries to correct discrepancies.
▪ Conducted daily site surveillance to ensure the implementation of the right quality, safety, and
construction procedures.
▪ Prepared, reviewed, and submitted weekly concrete and construction schedules to the client.
▪ Attended safety walk-throughs and quality inspections with the client.
EPC-IWTP (Industrial Waste Water Treatment Plant)
Royal Commition, Ras al Kher Saudi Arabia
- Prepared and submitted method statements for approval regarding safety and construction procedures.
-Filled and revised the procurement schedule for all the material required to complete the project.
-Supervised and managed the mobilization phase of the project in terms of site offices, laydown area and utilities.
-Estimated and requested the manpower and material required to conduct the mobilization of the project.
-Completed the take off and breakdown for every single item entailed in the contract drawings for this project.
-Prepared and Reviewed Civil Related Material Submittals for Client Approval.
-Prepared schedules for different activities related to Construction.
Saudi Aramco Dow Arabia Chemical Plant
Packaging Center
- Implemented the construction of CMU walls and partitions as per Saudi Aramco Standards.
- Issued purchase requests for the building’s finishing material.
- Arranged the painting job for CMU walls and Concrete floors.
- Constructed the truck dispatch building from foundations to roof.
Saudi Aramco Dow Arabia Chemical Plant
UPI - Power Destribution
- Adopted the duties of the Project Engineer in managing a team of Field Civil Engineers, QA Engineers, and QC Technicians for closing punch list items raised by the client in 9 power substation buildings.
- Led a team of one mechanical, one civil, and one electrical engineer in closing Steam Generation punch items related to concrete repairs, pipe fittings, and grounding networks.
- Revised project procedures, Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and Method Statements (MST).
- Coordinated between structural designers from Manila FLUOR Engineering Unit, architectural designers from FLUOR in Houston Texas, and local FLUOR Site Engineering group for design changes and management.
- Prepared Request for Information (RFI), Request for Inspection (RFI) and CAD field sketches for the Steam Generation Foundations and Structures.
- Prepared As-Built Drawings for handing over the project to the client.
- Supervised the Third-Party and the Qc team in preparing the construction packages prior to handing over.
- Supervised finishing work related to painting, concrete repair, door fixing, sealing, fire proofing, and water proofing.
- Conducted weekly meetings with the client regarding package submission and handing over.

Upi - Steam Generation
- Managed 6 Boilers, Air Block Unit, Steam Letdown unit, and Diesel Storage Area.
- Supervised all civil jobs on site from excavation to concrete repairing.
- Managed between the different disciplines involved in the construction phase.
- Prepared Bar-Bending Schedules for the assigned foundations and structures.
- Issued Purchase Orders for all the material used on site throughout the construction phase.
- Arranged inspection schedules with the client’s Quality Team.
