My duties falls under following areas
Attending for electrical breakdown, estimating for electrical works, testing And maintenance of fire alarm system, Panel board repairing, service maintenance of Generators, central ACs, split ACs, welding work of Stretchers, beds, IV stands, Medical trolley, wheel chairs and participate in technical evaluation committee for bidding of tenders.
My duties and responsible as follows.
• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
• supervises electrical maintenance service and repairs of equipment and fixtures such as motors, lighting, and transformers
• Plan and estimate electrical jobs.
• Maintain records on electrical jobs and assign to appropriate personnel.
• Assist in coordinating job assignments with the other trades, e.g., plumbers, carpenters, etc.
• Determine procedures for maintenance, installation, modification and repair of electrical assignments.
• Maintain knowledge of electrical materials in warehouse.
• Advice coordinator and assistant director of technical problems concerned with installation, modification and repair of electrical assignments.
• Recommend procedure revisions when necessary to fully utilize assigned personnel and equipment.
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with standard procedures and electrical assignments.
• Examine electrical services for proper working procedures. Perform related work as required.
• Applies best practice procedures utilized in electrical maintenance
• Being an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor supervises staff of electrical maintenance workers
• Ensures all safety and compliance regulations are met. Additionally, Electrical Maintenance
• Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work
• Recruit, supervise and train maintenance technicians
• Hire and supervise tradesmen during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers etc.)
• Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.)
• Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance.
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
• Participate in coordination of projects (e.g. renovations)
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulation.
• Studying specifications on BOQ of MEP Drawings and their implementations.
• Allocate and maintain the workforce for the giving target.
• Monitor the laying of electrical conduits.
• Monitor and check the installation and termination of LV & ELV cables.
• Monitor and check the installation of Main Distribution Board, Floor Distribution Board and apartment Distribution Board.
• Monitor and check the installation of electrical appliances with wiring system, cable tray and ladders.
• Preparations of MEP drawings, project schedule, review engineering plans and specifications.
• Check design drawings, as build drawings and instruct the Draftsman
For each change in consult with designing department.
• Manages and oversees the work of subordinate staff, contract architects or engineers, and contractors for compliance with the requirements of local agencies regarding fire, public health and safety.
• Develops and maintains a cost estimating database for facilities regarding MEP systems.
• Design and check shop drawings for customized apartments.
• Controlling the quality of work as per standards & approved drawings.
• Update the monthly progress report.
• Instruct the QS to prepare variation and additional.
• Liaise with consultants for insulation test, continuity test, earth test, testing and commissioning.
• Attend inspection with charted engineers and consultants.
• To ensure that all building services meet HSE requirements & local authority regulations on electrical installation.
• Prepare the monthly progress report and attend the progress review meeting with Head of the project.
• Liaise with QS to preparing preparation of monthly invoices, variation claim, cost reports, extension of time claim and cash flow report for project.

Collect Information for the Electrical Installation work, Prepare estimate for the installation, Explain details of estimate for approval, Prepare material for Installation, Lay and fix electrical PVC conduit, trunking, casing & capping and draw wires and cables, Install electrical accessories, Fix and wire consumer units and switch-gear, Install the earth electrode of the domestic electrical installation.
Carryout domestic single phase electrical installation, Install domestic safety / security and communication system, Carry out inspection, testing, fault finding and repair in domestic electrical installations
Carry out industrial electrical installations (Three phase wiring), Inspect, test, trace and repair faults in industrial electrical installations, Repair /maintain /service electric motors and generators, Install industrial safety / security and communication.
Electrical measuring and detecting instruments include Voltage detector, Earth resistance tester Multi-meter (Digital and Analog), Clip-on meter (Digital and Analog), Insulation resistance tester, RCD checker
1. Monitor and check the installation and termination of LV cables.
2. Monitor and check the installation of Main Distribution Board, Floor Distribution Board and apartment Distribution Board.
3. Monitor and check the installation bus bar riser trunking system.
4. Monitor and check the termination of tap-off unit with floor distribution board.
5. Monitor and check the installation of earthing system and lighting protection system.
6. Monitor and check the installation of electrical lighting, power outlets and wiring system.
7. Monitor and check the installation of cable tray and cable ladder system.
8. Monitor the laying of electrical conduits.
9. Allocate unit task for assistant engineers and supervisors.
10. Allocate resources as per schedule to achieve the targets.
11. Check design drawings, as build drawings and instruct the Draftsman.
12. Design and check shop drawings for customized apartments.
13. Update the monthly progress bill along with Q.S.
14. Instruct the Q.S to prepare variation and additional.
15. Coordinate with other trades civil, mechanical, ELV finishing to avoid repetitive work
16. Liaise with MEP Engineers and consultants for insulation test, continuity test, earth test, testing and commissioning.
17. Attend the inspection with Chartered Engineers and consultants.
18. Attend the MEP meeting and progress meeting as a contractor representative.
19. Conduct the site meeting for assistant engineers and supervisors along with project manager and prepare the meeting minutes.
20. Monitor and prepare subcontractor payment bills.
21. Maintain the bar chart and daily work schedule.
22. Maintain ISO standard and file management system.

I have completed following qualification 1. NDT in Electrical Engineering (University of Moratuwa, Srilanka) 2. professional diploma in MEP-QS (OCEAS college) 2. Safety management (IOSH) 4. Excellent knowledge in Auto cad and Microsoft office packages.
