• Directing and coordinating all type of maintenance activities related to company owned PMV - over 1000 Equipment.
• Coordinating PMV repairs and maintenance services to obtain maximum utilization of equipment and prevent operational delays in other departments.
• Managing over than 150 employees including Main workshop manager, PMV engineers, supervisors and foremen.

• Repairing and maintenance of heavy plant, including tracked, wheeled and stationary equipment.
• Troubleshooting Caterpillar Equipment using CAT ET (Electronic Technician) and CAT SIS (Service Information System) by following troubleshooting procedures, analysing active, logged codes and events, Injector cut-out test, transmission calibrations, implements calibrations….
• Overseeing overhaul activities (Engines, transmission, differential, Tandem Drives, Torque converters...).
• Updating PMV Owning & Operating cost - Plant Rates.
• Inspecting plant equipment, heavy and light vehicles, tankers, trailers, Stationery equipment… for conformity to specifications for projects with high safety standards (British Petroleum - BP, Occidental Oman - OXY, Petroleum Development Oman - PDO);
• Inspecting used plant equipment including preparation of estimated repair cost and evaluating its general condition for purchase.
• Preparing PMV operational expenses report, Profit and loss reports comparing actual to theoretical costs.
• Preparing preventative maintenance schedule for plant equipment following O&M Manuals.
• Ordering and procuring of spare parts, lubes, tires, workshop tools and equipment - including forecasting and stocking activities.
• Assisting and advising in the procurement of plant equipment, comparing specifications, most common failures and parts prices.
• Seeking out new vendors, suppliers locally and internationally, negotiating terms, pricing for improving profitability.
• Handling owned PMV insurance claims - preparation of repair estimates, loss adjuster negotiation, spares ordering and invoicing.
• Knowledge of earthmoving, hauling and lifting equipment function and specs.
• Knowledge of light and heavy equipment maintenance, oil service and repairs environment.
• Prepared inspection reports of equipment for conformity to specifications.
• Maintained day-to-day job cards and service records of all PMV.
• Prepared diesel reports - comparing real to theoretical diesel consumption.
• Familiar with workshop safety regulations, waste segregation, lubes & tire storage.
