Responsible in taking reservations
•Welcoming and assisting the guest/s in their seats
•Taking orders, serving food and often handling payments
•Clearing off and setting tables
•Stocking and inventorying supplies
•Ensures that the area is kept clean, orderly and comfortable
•Performs all other tasks as may be required by the supervisor

Courteously receive and properly route incoming calls
•Service out-going calls and supplies proper connections and information
•Take down and relay messages
•Report all telephone defects to the technical department
•Logs all wake-up call requests and performs wake-up call services.
•Provides information about hotel services to guests.
•Understand the telephone operator board or PBX switchboard operations.
•Provides paging services for hotel guests and employees.
•Knows what action to take when an emergency call is required.
•Verify telephone equipment rental charges, long distance charges
•Handle in- house paging system
•Handle fire-alarm procedure
•Know and use correct front office terminology
•Be familiar with operation of computer terminal
•Work in close cooperation with reception, housekeeping, restaurant, banqueting, kitchen, reservations, sales and marketing and engineering department
•Check and ensure PABX equipment is operating efficiently
•Perform any duties that may be assigned from time to time by supervisors
•Suggest and assist in finding ways to improve the telephone system
•Refer any major operational problems or guest complaints to the Duty Manager for escalation.
•Following up client comments by trying to find a solution for every problem raised.
•Monitor performance of correct telephone operating procedures

•Concierge ( Front Office Department )
•Assist and provide information to guest queries and inquiries such as hotel facilities and amenities, published hotel rates, local features like theme parks, recreational destinations
•Make dining and other reservations such as car transport service and tickets for events
•Receive, store and deliver luggage and mail with the assistance of bellman.
•Dealing with the lost items or luggage of the guests
•Pick up or delivered items and run errands for the guests
•Assisting and answering calls for guests requests such as luggage assistance for check-in and check-out and items request
