Major Improvments :--( 1 )Increased the production from average monthly from 20, 000 to 65, 000 MT / Monthly ( maximum was 82, 000 MT / Month ). Leakages of HCC, Hoses-water / Oil eliminated by providing heat shield + new way of pourback + new material ( 2 ) Bottom shell life increased from average 200 heats to average 300 heats ( maximum 380 heats) by decreasing breakdown of carbon injection machine.( 3 ) Roof change, Bottom shell change, Water panel change done in less time. ( 4 ) Was interested to introduce bottom purging at bottom shell of EAF.

Mannesman Demag, Germany quoted for Indian Rs. 54 Crores ( USD -12 Million ) & we have done at Indian Rs. 1 Crore ( USD 0.3 ) with 1 ½ year time period . Increase in production from 600 MT/ Day to 800 MT/Day.
