• Led a team of 4 supervisors and 33 contract employees for the operation of 5 Alternative Fuel (AF) lines at Lafarge’s Sokhna plant.
• Ensured smooth stable feed rates of different AF material (Refuse Derived Fuels, Biomass, Olive residue and Tire Derived Fuels) to 5 kilns and requested recalibration for the systems if needed.
• Discussed risk assessment, work hazards and ensured that the correct PPEs and LOTOTO steps were used and applied by the team members before commencing any task and work order.
• Set feed targets and preventive maintenance stoppages with the production and mechanical teams.
• Performed daily first level inspection on the systems different equipment and ensured overhauls checklists were applied.
• Coordinated with Geocycle company and the production teams waste material safe disposal within the kilns
• Prepared the daily action log, daily downtime and monthly reports along with approving work permits, certificates, and permissions.
• Contributed to designing Grow Green program which focused on implementing the concept of green economy for 100 companies and 3 green cities.
• Evaluated various proposals and offers for fitting solar systems to some of the IMC administration buildings.
• Performed preliminary energy audits in IMC registered companies as a member of IMC Audit team.
• Worked as a night shift MWD engineer during drilling 6600ft deviated well in the Gulf of Suez for 30 days.
• Assembled the MWD tool HDS 01, and rigged up the sensors with the aid of the senior MWD engineer.
• Studied drilling motors and auto track tools at Baker Hughes’ Katameya base.
• Studied well logging tools, different types of packers, and some completion tools at Halliburton’s Katameya base.
• Attended seminars about directional drilling topic which included: directional well planning, Build/Drop/Turn Rate, directional bottom hole assemblies, and deflection tools.
• Assisted the company man in monitoring the drilling operations at El Salam Oil field.
