Responsibilities:
• Day-to-day operations, technical support and online content creation & development for the Group websites, Apps, intranet and online platforms.
• Working with Group IT and digital team to set plans for websites, e-commerce platforms, e-mail marketing and social media campaigns for the Group/own concepts/brands.
• Researching for web technologies to use, online platforms, CMS choice and digital campaigns.
• Develop and Design web application user experience, making sure they are following web coding standards and guidelines with great attention to performance, SEO, accessibility, A/B testing.
• Writing project scope, design & development plans and sitemaps for full web and optimised mobile versions.
• Assisting in digital design activities such as user interface design, user experience, information architecture, prototyping and wireframing.
• Frontend development including HTML/CSS/jQuery development, quality assurance and testing Backend development and CMS implementations.
• Copy writing, content translations: preparing content, getting quotations/ approvals.
• Working with internal and external content providers, editors and designers to ensure channels are up to date and aligned with the Group strategy.
• Ensuring that all platforms have a consistent look & feel and meet the needs of target audiences with high usability. • Visual and video content creation using graphics software/tools such as Photoshop, video tools and online platforms such as movie maker, Vimeo and Youtube.
• Follow-up on tasks and phases completion using project management tools such as basecamp.
• Writing technical requirements and briefs for web pages optimising, integrations with other services/platforms, enhancing content and new social implementations.
• Performing regular follow up with IT and external suppliers on ongoing support, hosting plans, upgrading and backup tools, domain registration and renewals.
• Implementing Google Analytics (event tracking, goal setup and custom reporting).
• Executing best practices for mobile, SEO, SEM and optimization of paid search campaigns.

Achievements:
• Group intranet (web-based, built with MS SharePoint 2013): worked on whole content for 8 countries in English & Arabic, support usability and development issues. I worked with SharePoint developers (outsourced) and creative team in Havas digital to build the new version of the intranet including writing design brief, development plan, technical scope, timetable and sitemap, supervising the designers/ developers to ensure the delivery and testing of the daily technical requirements.
• Group website: supported old website usability/content and worked on the revamp including content management using customised CMS developed with PHP- working closely with internal digital team on Google analytics, tag management, SEO support.
• Careers website: content management using Umbraco CMS working with HR dept. and technical team on user interface & usability.
• E-Commerce websites: Web usability support, ensuring content such as offers and campaigns are available on the site to meet deadlines, web pages optimisations and analytics.
• Support social media & digital platforms: Group LinkedIn page, email newsletters and brands' digital channels (YouTube, Facebook).
• Corporate screens: designing presentations for the group internal communications, video production, administrating content on servers/signage in all countries, working closely with supplier for technical and CMS requirements.
