Job Description:
 Review of Detailed Design & Engineering for SPS & SURF Packages
 ONGC Site representative (CSR) at contractor’s fabrication yard for SPS & SURF Packages to support the delivery of the subsea hardware including planning, development & execution
 Interface management typically with the SPS and SURF teams as appropriate
 Contractor management and progress reporting to ONGC project management team
 Ensures that all subsea engineering activities comply with company standards
 Responsible for the oversight of subsea hardware specification and services requirement in accordance with company procedure
 Ensures all the work within the area of responsibility is adequately documented and lessons learned are captured

Responsibilities:
 To provide the vision and strategy to sections for development and execution of project, construction, Transportation and Installation activities EPCI from project inception to handover and close out.
 Manage, direct and co-ordinate all projects/site activity with multidisciplinary team responsibility for the execution of the project in compliance with all project requirements, Identify and undertake Risk Analysis.
 Coordination with Clients and Engineer Field for smooth execution of project. Detailed and construction engineering for various types of offshore structures such as Anchor Piles, Bouy, Hoses, Mooring and Chains
 Follow up with procurement vendor and their OEM to deliver the materials including long lead items according to the client schedule. Interface with vendor and client related to all custom clearance and duties paid.
 Review and process the Change Orders, Variation Order to the client and subcontractor/vendor
 Review technical solutions, which optimize the project’s costs in accordance with the contract’s technical requirements with the help of the Project Leaders, Project Engineers, the manhours budget of the project’s engineering activities;
 Follow up with clients to resolve disputed matters and get approval in terms of technically and commercially.

Period : Mar 2011 to July 2012

Responsibilities:
 To manage all aspects Hook-up & installation, UFR, manifold, wellheads, subsea pipeline pre-commissioning and diving activities controlling that their execution is in line with project plans and highlighting any possible deviations suggesting possible solutions and verify the Installation works compliance with project specifications, company procedures.
 To supervise Fabrication/Erection of Topside, offshore flexible, Subsea pipelines/structures and UFR, Risers Guard installation activities, monitoring contractor performance, assuring the application of all the relevant HSEQ and QA procedures, and providing technical support as required.
 Review and Coordinate with the Hook-up team responsible for design, engineering, drawings and documents control as well as procurement, project construction and QA/QC to ensure proper planning and progress reporting and to enable effective management of the project’s quantities, at all levels of responsibilities. Follow up on Hook up activities, equipment fabrications & Erection, Analysis of Primary, Secondary and Territory Steel.
 Interfaces with Installation & Logistics (I&L) for Hook-up offshore execution, planning and staffing support.
 Follow-up of the Job Card preparation. Interface with Contractors (Hook-up, UFR, Mooring & Heavy Lifting), Management of Authorities. Preparation of the FPSO before sail away.

 Detail engineering - completion of engineering and incorporation of Vendors information
 Technical building engineering - ensure coherence and interfacing with topside engineering performed
 Precom/com engineering - ensure coherence and interfacing with topside and tech building engineering

 During CFT process (technical clarification / selection of Vendors)
 During PO execution
To construction& Installation team:
 Provides technical review of the construction, installation plans and procedures with Engineering changes etc., kindly go thru with details under Accountability/Responsibilities Para above.
 Expediting of construction engineering (shop drawings) in line with detail engineering and construction plans

Responsibilities:
 Analysis of Connectors, Hubs, TX-seals, High pressure caps, Wedge connecters, Porches, Terminations, Pup-piece/pipe interfaces, Jumpers, Bolts, Blind flanges, Torque tool interface, Test spool, Test hubs and caps.
 Defining connection system capacities of HCS and VCS for flexible/umbilical and rigid lines.
 Structural analysis for Installation, Tie-in, Operation and pre-commissioning load cases for different types of connections system i.e. HCS, HCM, VCS, VCM and FCM connection.
 Road transport, Sea transport, landing impact, Lifting analysis of structures.
 Analysis types include strength, collapse/limit, nonlinear, contacts, thermal, lifting and HISC.

Responsibilities:
 Ensure on time delivery of manufacturing deliverables for given scope
 Follow up deliveries to/from other work centers towards the client
 Provide effective project controlling and ensure that manufacturing meets projects requirements progressing according to plan
 Participate in design reviews and gate reviews. Give input to risk register and assist in follow up of relevant risks
 Investigate major rework situations or major manufacturing related abnormalities define and follow up corrections
 Co-operate closely with Product Lead buyer / Procurement lead to keep track of status of critical parts and parts on shortage lists
 Monitor OTD of documents from engineering, for scope of manufacturing, purchasing and final delivery (Schedule driver)
 Participate in project completion management meetings. Report progress on construction and fabrication activities
 Facilitate communication between project and manufacturing sites.
 Active participation on process improvement activity in order to improve or mitigate the activity which contributing to final delivery.
