The Territory Manager is responsible to Manage and develop the assigned Field sales territory in order to maintain and grow the DHL market leadership position.
Achieve individual sales targets while meeting key customer needs and exploit all new opportunities from existing and potential customers (prospects) ensuring a maximum penetration of DHL in assigned territory.
Complete responsibility of customers issues for Billing, Invoices, Clearance and Deliveries of shipments. Coordinate with Customer service, credit control and operations departments for smooth process of shipments.
Reporting directly to Marketing Manager and Regional Director.
Involved in aspects of marketing, including: planning; advertising; promotion; public/media relations; product development; distribution; sponsorship; and research.
Managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters and flyers - this can involve writing and proofreading copy and liaising with designers and printers.
Arranging for the effective distribution of marketing materials.
Monitoring competitor activity.
Contributing to and developing long-term marketing plans and strategies.
Writing and distributing press releases.
Evaluating marketing campaigns.
Liaising and building relationships with a range of stakeholders, e.g. customers, suppliers and colleagues.
Maintaining and building contacts with the media agencies.
Carrying out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness.
Developing advertising opportunities, which can involve placing adverts in national, regional and specialist publications or on the radio.
Identify and monitor competitors and research market conditions or changes in the industry that may affect sales.
Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources.
As a Sales coordinator:
Assisting Sales team in making of daily reports
Assisting Sales Manager in weekly and monthly reports
Providing monthly targets to sales team
Providing Sales leads to sales team
Assisting customers with the product knowledge and providing them rates and better service solutions
Following up with key accounts for regular collection of payments and penetrating them for more business
Assisting new hired sales staff with training material, training them with company core selling product information.
