• Supervising the implementation of various
municipal projects and monitoring progress to ensure
quality and adherence to project timelines.
• Processing and analyzing municipal planning maps using
advanced engineering software such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD,
and Google Earth.
• Preparing sketches and regulatory planning layouts for
various investment sites within the municipality in
accordance with approved planning standards.
• Conducting field visits to different sites and preparing
detailed technical reports outlining existing issues and
proposing appropriate solutions.
• Reviewing requests submitted through the Balady
platform, including cadastral decisions, building permits,
compliance certificates, and related services.
• Monitoring issued building permits through the Mumtathil
platform to ensure adherence to regulations and
requirements.
• Preparing periodic technical reports for the municipality,
in addition to handling reports received from the Secretariat.
• Participating in technical evaluation and bid awarding
processes for municipal projects in accordance with
regulatory procedures.

• Working as part of specialized technical teams
responsible for studying, designing, and overseeing several
major planning projects, including:
• Preparing the Land Use Master Plan for Khartoum State.
• Developing the structural and detailed planning for the
Nile waterfronts in Khartoum State.
• The rehabilitation and redevelopment project of Khartoum
City Center.
• Formulating strategies to increase vertical density within
the urban areas of Khartoum State.
• Developing planning and building guidelines and
requirements for large land parcels.
• Reviewing and approving village planning schemes
across Khartoum State.

• Designing plans for several residential and
administrative buildings, as well as a health center
and a specialized hospital, and preparing the
complete set of technical documents including
detailed drawings, specifications, and bills of
quantities.

• Cataloging and registering engineers across all
categories (technician, technologist, engineer) and
professional levels; participating in the development and
enhancement of training programs targeted at engineers;
and digitizing the engineer registration system and
archiving their files to ensure easy access and efficient data
management.

• Designing architectural plans for several residential
buildings, preparing the full set of technical documents
including detailed drawings, specifications, and bills of
quantities, in addition to supervising the execution phases
to ensure quality and compliance with approved standards.

• Participating within specialized technical teams in
identifying suitable locations for gas depots and
petroleum service stations in Al-Gezira State, as well
as contributing to the planning of newly developed
residential blocks in accordance with approved urban
planning standards.

• Supervising the construction works of a 21 story
administrative building, ensuring quality execution and
compliance with the approved drawings and technical
specifications.

Participating in the construction works of university
facilities consisting of seven complexes, with on site
follow up to ensure quality execution and compliance
with technical drawings and specifications.
