Studied in US high school program with a scientific major. The program exposed me to a well rounded education that was not restricted to textbooks and exams for example in addition to the tradition educational subjects there were rock climbing classes, psychology, and construction. That gave me a better outlook on learning new things and becoming exposed to new experiences and training situations.
