Datacenter Manager from 1/1/2015
• Plan the desktops, data center server, storage portfolio, and architecture

• Design, engineer, and implement tasks and activities associated with data center solutions

• Coordinate activities of datacenter projects through direct/indirect staff (contractors/consultants)

• Meet scheduled milestones to ensure datacenter projects objectives are met.

• Develop business cases and request for information/proposals (RFIs/RFPs) for datacenter solutions
• Manage and provide coaching and mentoring for his team of systems engineer

• Handle HR activities of the datacenter function such as performance appraisals

• Direct teams in planning, scheduling, technical operations and standards in datacenter solutions

• Participate in budgeting and quality improvement activities for the IT organization

- Perform the Monthly Maintenance of the server by reviewing all the Hardware status / System status of HP Blade and DL Servers
- Perform the weekly maintenance of All Windows Servers by, reviewing all the Event logs, checking all the services.
- Securing all the windows environment from any backdoor threat ( e.g. viruses.. etc )
- Preparing all the required system and hardware servers for the upcoming projects.
- Performing high level of patch implementation on regular basis on Windows server
- Performing the high level of firmware upgrade on HP Blade and DL servers
- Creation of windows server using Vmware environment along with that are the configuration of the required configuration of windows server.
- Configuring a virtual switch on Vmware servers
- Performing the high level approach in troubleshooting of Windows server based on SLA
- Performing the high level approach in troubleshooting of HP Blade server based on SLA
- Configuring windows environment based on the required projects
- Assigning a LUN Disk using Vm console on virtual servers
- Performing a daily checkup on the systems
- Performing Server Hardening based on the IT Security controls
- Manage the user, access to server.

• Assist the IT Engineers with wide range of server hardware assembly and operating system installation, ALHARBI holds number of servers with brands like HP ML350/ ML370/DL 380 G4/ DL 380 G5 etc.
• Installing and Configuring Desktop Computers from operating system/ MS Applications/ Design Applications/ ERP Applications/ Device drivers / Printers/ Scanners etc.
• Adding workstations to domains.
• Creating Active Directory users.
• Educating users the need for password complexity and the way to follow the company standards for passwords and security, access of network shares like files, printers, plotters etc.
• Managing user permissions for internet access through MS ISA 2000/ 2004 and 2006.
• Supervised network expansion project where a departmental switch was added to the core switch and network points were laid.
• Provide help desk support to clients via mail phone or field for wide range of district clients.
• Part of my responsibilities included to keep track of schedules for renewal of Licenses, hosting and Internet accounts.
• Follow up with procurement/venders for the delivery of IT equipments and handing over to the concerned personnel/department.
