Division Head for Counseling, Early Childhood and Special Education. Administrative duties such as course oversight, evaluation of teachers and support for faculty. Teach courses in Special Education. Serve as Internship/Action Research School Mentor and Academic Advisor.
Taught undergraduate and graduate classes in research, classroom management and teacher training in how to work with individuals who have special needs. All undergraduate classes were taught in a face-to-face model. Graduate courses were taught in a synchronous online model with some work expected to be completed outside of class. Taught undergraduate and graduate courses in special education and American Sign Language. Was awarded one of four U.S. funded research projects--nealry $250, 000. Performed research, service and teaching in this position. Fluent in American Sign Language.
