Job Description:
Member of AFGRE commercial management team, I’m involved in three portfolios of works: Infrastructure Portfolio (Electrical Substation, District Cooling Plant & Facility Management Building), Retail Portfolio (CFC Mall) and Hospitality portfolio. I’m responsible for arrange provision of, cost management, procurement management, contract administration, measurement, variation evaluation services, selection and appointment of consultants & contractors, processing payments and administration of agreements and contracts within approved financial limits, terms and Conditions

Responsibilities include:
• Provide commercial advice to the AFGRE Team.
• Advise Project manager on procurement of projects and consultancy services to meet time, quality and cost requirements of the development plan.
• Provide commercial advice to design management and development divisions to ensure in all respects that risk is minimized, best value is achieved and to maximize the return in investment on projects developed.
• Ensure that the Loan agreement’s requirements and conditions is covered in all agreements and commitments.
• Use standard form contracts, in review with Group legal, in production of consultant and contractor agreements, and agreements of purchase.
• Provide pre and post contract Quantity Surveying Services
• Evaluate prequalification of Contractors and Consultants.
• Prepare Requests for proposal and negotiating agreements for contractors and consultants.
• Prepare tender evaluation reports and advising on selection of tenderers.
• Post Contract administration services for Consultancy and Contractor agreements.
• Monitor Portfolio payment and budget commitments in accordance with Cost Management Services Team.
• Prepare Interim and Final Payment evaluations.
• Maintain variation register detailing submitted values, agreed values and whether signed off.
• Ensure internal approvals are obtained in accordance with group policies and the Delegation of Authority.

Project Controls Engineer at PGESCo (a Bechtel’s subsidiary)

• Review, analyze Contractors' schedules (more than Fifteen thousand activities), reports & progress.
• Identify/coordinate schedule interfaces between eight main contractors.
• Assist project team in analyzing/evaluating time/cost claims & changes.
• Schedule high level construction, start-up & commissioning interface schedules of more than One Thousand activities.
• Prepare -as required- mini-schedules for start-up, commissioning, & scheduled outages that require coordination between contractors.
• Led, analyze, & report project updates/schedules directly to site manager.
• Contribute to the functional department learned lessons.

Quantity Surveying Engineer at CCC (Consolidated Contractors International Company)
