- Provide management over a portfolio of clients and deliver high quality audit and assurance service, including preparing and reviewing audit plans and work
- Project planning and administration - resourcing, time analysis, billing etc.
- Ensuring that the engagement team performs a risk based audit in accordance with the firm’s methodology and the International Standards on Auditing
- Provide assistance to clients in the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with the reporting framework (i.e. International Financial Reporting Framework)
- Researching and providing solutions to complex accounting matters arising from the engagement
- Managing and supervising the engagement team including the primary review of the work performed
- Coach, train and develop staff to upgrade their knowledge
- Lead the day-to-day operations of multiple engagements
- Be involved in the resolution of regulatory and accounting issues that arise during the audit engagement
- Responsible for the supervision of staff and management of services to clients
- Have deep technical experience and are expected to develop in-depth knowledge in the service line.
A five-year program intended to prepare students for a career in accountancy and to enable them to take the CPA Board Examinations.
