Shift Engineer (Operations) Utilities plant
Currently I'm working on utilities plant. It consists of COGEN system with 03 gas turbines of 10MW each manufactured by GE and associated 03 HRSG's of 50 tons/hr of steam generation capacity each. Moreover, unit has demineralization plant (cation/anion exchanger), Intrument and plant air compressors. And cooling water sytem.

My responsibility was that of a site incharge and HSE Engineer. My prime responsibility was to fulfill daily production target for which I had to plan & arrange resources & co-coordinating with marketing dept. At day end, all the stocks, sales, had to be reconciled. I was also responsible for implementing, monitoring HSE related matter

Shift Engineer ( RO plant/ Utilities) Experience 1.5 Years I was assigned a project of erecting, installing and commissioning of their new RO/ water treatment (Designed throughput= 350 m3/hr) and mineral water plant (Aqua Fina) . The plant comprised of state of the art 03 Berkefeld RO systems, Sand (Flocculation) & carbon Filtration units, Zeolite Softener, Chillers, water Turbine system, Chemical dosing units, Cooling towers, mineral dosing unit and Ozone reactor. All the plant was operated through single dcs screen After successful completion of the project, I took shift charge and operated plant effectively & supervised the maintenance activities. Spare parts for the facility were also ordered by me. Chemical consumption monitoring, ordering & forecasting was also my responsibility. Logging shift activity was also my routine. Supervising and control of water treatment lab was also assured by me.

Trainee Shift Engineer (Petrochemical Operations) Experience 2 years
* I started off my career from Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI-PPTA), ( a member of ICI worldwide group) . It is the leading Multi-National Company in Pakistan with state of the art, $ 480Million huge petrochemical complex. First year, I got training on of the oxidation plant along with comprehensive training on site safety procedures, study and understanding of plant process using operational modules and plant PFD's with extensive on plant training. The plant had following units; Reactor, crystallizers, Rotary filters, Dryer and a 24 MW Air compressor. I was also rigorously taught about the permit to work system. In the 2nd year of my training I was responsible to take care of all the shift activities. Also, I've worked there on DCS and ASPEN process explorer. Equipment handover for maintenance, Job supervision was also my responsibility.

Hazard identification and eliminating risks using MSDS, safety audits, was also part of my job. I've gone through dupont STOP series and scored 93% in tests conducted of 8 units.
