Implementation and configuration of BMC Discovery for Enterprise Asset Management.
Act as the BMC Discovery subject matter expert and advice on implementing best practice in one or more datacenter technologies - Storage / Backup / Networking / Virtualization / Unix, SQL.
Write complex TPL patterns to expand discovery beyond the out-of-the-box capabilities.
Work in conjunction with the end client to best utilise the full capability of BMC Discovery.
Perform Data Quality Assurance tasks on an operational basis.
Deploy, Manage, and Administrate, BMC TrueSight Operation Management, BMC ADDM Discovery and Entuity.
Administrate BMC Remedy (incident, problem, and SLA).
Deliver Technical Presentations and POCs.
Provide support for various BMC software Products.
Researches, composes, and delivers responses to RFPs.
Authors the technical sections of proposals for prospective customers and where necessary works closely with internal product and engineering teams to define acceptable solution proposals.
Interfaces with customers to determine technical requirements and expectations.
Implement, administrate, manage and maintain large ITSM -IT Service Management- Solutions that includes BMC Performance management and BMC Automation and batch management on different platforms (MS Windows, Linux, Solaris, AIX and HP-UX).
Help our clients to create ITSM process overview documentations according to ITIL standards.
Recommend organisation and processes requirements to achieve ITIL v3 capability to our clients.
Manage BMC Service Desk Express at ALKAN Telecom.
Manage and support new implementation of Large Linux and Microsoft windows infrastructure at the Ministry of Tourism, Damietta Water Supply and Alkan Telecom.
Perform pre-sales activities when required to the clients (POCs, Presentations... etc).
Research and present new technologies with other members of the team for use internally and for customers.
Understanding the impact of changes and communicating comprehensively on these impacts to clients Integration of Events from other BMC Sources into BMC Event Manager.
