• Recruited and led the art team as the company’s custom media production doubled in size. Sustainably developed the team to take on more projects. Produced design proposals to pitch new clients. Collaborated with colleagues in the US, UK, EU, Middle East, Asia and Australia.
• Created and launched Arabic-language versions of Nature and Scientific American. Also created a new Nature Index supplement and Nature Spotlight section. For all four, built a sustainable art vision for web and print, designing editorial, branding and marketing creatives including animations and multimedia projects.
• Portfolio includes broad range of Nature-branded supplements as well as custom products for worldwide client base including L’Oréal, Merck and the Gates Foundation. Also designs advertising campaigns, social media graphics, and other marketing creatives.
• Strategically build, mentor, and inspire art teams. Setting styles and owning the visual brand, in digital, multimedia and print products. Ensure global penetration into a variety of culturally distinct markets to explain the complex and world-leading scientific content of Nature magazine and journals.
