Responsibilities
Budget and Cost Control:
• Assist in monitoring the allocated budgets for the Company to ensure compliance and highlight possible issues
• Provide inputs on the preparation of the budget when necessary
• Provide inputs on cost reduction measures to be implemented
• Risk Management and Insurance Coverage
• Ensure proper and adequate insurance coverage
• Ensure that financial aspects of the contracts are adhered to and are renewed promptly.
Internal Control and Audit:
• Ensure alignment of procedures developed by the Finance function
• Guarantee that the fixed asset register is properly maintained
• Ensure that payroll is processed accurately and timely
• Control suppliers’ payment terms
• Monitor stock-check, Slow moving stock, receiving controls, and analyze results.
• Perform audits to minimize cash flow risks, and prepare corrective actions and proposals for improvement.
• Ensure the strict implementation of Internal Audit recommendations

New Pressdan is a fast-growing Egyptian packaging material producer, it’s a joint venation company founded in 2005 with 100% Egyptian capital. It is located in the 10th of Ramadan industrial city over an area of 7000 Square meters. It is the younger sister of the housing development of printing and publishing "Pressdan" which was founded in 1982.

Responsibilities: -
• Design / improve cost management processes and use appropriate costing methodologies to recognize, determine, accumulate, and report costs.
• Analyze expenses and cost transactions; ensure that transactions are recorded accurately and assigned to the appropriate projects and departments and maintain files relating to the cost accounting system
• Validate the cost of sales as part of the month-end close.
• Analyze, examine, and interpret accounting data, records, and reports to determine past costs, identify improperly recorded costs, and reallocated the cost to ensure they are recorded in the appropriate cost structure.
• Collect relevant data for cost allocation basis from different departments monthly.
• Oversee expenditure and identify trends in spending
• Assist in the development of the company's overall budget document, and at the departmental level, providing advice and analysis to increase the efficiency of the company's spending.
• Design, Improve, and Conduct various surveys, research, data analysis, cost-benefit analyses, and expenditure and revenue forecasting.

• Prepare, and analyze the monthly cost variance analysis and send the report to the management with detailed analysis and commentary.
• plan, Study, and collect data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor.
• Prepare and lead the monthly inventory meeting to review RM & WIP Slob with the procurement & operation team
• Support in the annual budget planning & quarterly forecasts
• Lead the physical count process for WIP, FG, and fixed assets
• Review BS accounts on monthly basis (inventory & accruals & others)
• Deal with internal & external auditors for the annual audit review
• Review bank reconciliation, payment process & payable accounts

• Manage all accounts and incoming payments and ensure their compliance with financial regulations
• Create and manage bills, invoices, and bank deposits
• Enter all Service Provider invoices into SCALA ERP System after checking with company logistic records of each transaction and after receiving approved purchase orders
• Organize all kinds of financial transactions, such as daily classifying, computing, posting, recording, and verifying accounts receivables' data.
• Review the accounts receivable ledger making sure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Take measures to ensure payment of invoices such as sending bill reminders and contacting customers
• Detect problems with clients' billing issues and help to resolve them
• Prepare detailed financial statements and reports about accounts receivable status and present them to the company's executives and senior managers
