Project; A-Ring Road / Wadi Musheireb Street Reinstatement & Upgrade

- Analyze all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing.
- Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.
- Develop, implement and drive the procurement strategies in order to meet cost savings targets.
- Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality.
- Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies based on portfolio analyses and supplier referencing study.
- Define and maintain documented category and supplier strategies using market and competitive data.
- Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final product.
- Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy.
- Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements.
- Create monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements.
- Ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliance in all the procurement transactions.
- Adopt appropriate supplier management methodologies and procurement strategies in purchasing to secure better prices.
- Train team on effective procurement processes and strategy.
- Coordinate with vendor on continuous quality improvement.

Project : Qatar Rail Major Metro Stations Project (QRMS)

• Prepare comparative analyses documents related to specs, price, delivery conditions and mode of transportation.
• Prepare award of contracts, checks contract documents as well as make recommendations of contractor’s valuations.
• Review / assess technical specification, BOQ and drawings to determine suitable vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality to obtain the maximum benefit for the company
• Ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliance in all the procurement transactions.
• Review quotations of identified technical and commercial specifications received from the vendors and suppliers.
• Follow client standards and procedures for inspection, documentation requirements, delivery Requirements ... etc.

• Coordinate various technical reviews with projects and end users with demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relations as a team member.
• Analyse and evaluate all purchasing requisitions to ensure clarity and completeness in description of material and equipment.
• Create RFQ for the materials and services for projects and departments as project materials, consumables, fixed assets, equipment, services and sub contracts.
• Liaise with Project Directors and attend Tender procedures to prepare Tender Reports.

• Preparing Contract close-out documents and Taking Over Certificates (FIDIC).
• Technical Coordinator responsible for incoming and outgoing department correspondence, inquiries, technical documentation and submissions.
• Prepare & accrediting various Interim Invoices & Quantity Surveying documents including budgetary estimates from sketch drawings, Bill of Quantities for all disciplines and Costs Estimates for major contracts such as:
i. 120, 000 m² Artificial Lake (The Crystal Lagoon) (with total cost of 75 million L.E).
ii. Multi Family Blocks with 450 residential units (with total cost of 67 million L.E).
iii. Infra Structures systems all around the project (with total cost of 25 million L.E).
iv. Miscellaneous Works Contracts (with total cost of 13 million L.E).
• Finalize the Final Account of projects.
• Liaise with Project Directors and attend Tender procedures and prepare Tender Reports.
• Prepare award of contracts, checks contract documents as well as make recommendations of contractor’s valuations.
• Provide assistance to Project Manager on contractual issues.
• Prepare variation orders through site visits to record information on claims/variations.
• Preparing RFI and shop-drawings for Steel Structure works in the project.
• Evaluate variations and handle contractual correspondences.
• Attend progress meetings and provide updates PMO with projection of costs as required.
• Prepare evaluations/ cost projections of the assignment to meet requirements of works in progress.
• Inspect site for collation of information for monthly statement which includes but not limited to recommendation on interim payments, statement of claims, anticipated claims and assessment of costs of works and expected final cost.
• Assist in any contracts administration duties related to QS.

1- 3D Modeling & steel detailing for major projects using TEKLA STRUCTURES software.
2- Supervision and Inspection on both the fabrication quality and erection processes.
3- Prepare & accrediting various Interim Invoices & Quantity surveying documents.
4- Preparing general arrangement drawings as per client’s standards.
5- Preparing fabrication shop drawings with respect to AISC, ASTM, BS standards.
6- Preparation of cutting plans for plates by keeping minimum material wastage.
7- Preparation of Bill of materials, Bolt location list & Erection sequences.
8- Preparation of RFI (questionnaire) before and as the project progresses.
9- Checking of anchor bolt drawings, erection drawings and structural section drawings.

1- TEKLA STRUCTURES 3DModelling.
2- Suggesting critical connection to the design engineers as per erection feasibilities.
3- Final coordination with electrical, piping, Mechanical equipments (checking If there any
fouls or not), and finalizing the model.
4- Preparing GA drawing and shop drawings.
5- Co-ordinating releases and Hold list between other disciplines (Piping, Electrical and
Mechanical).
6- Responsible of a complete on site supervision for few projects at some steel workshops
