Responsibilities:

 Create the High Level Design of the Network, based on the Customer Needs.
 Technical Awareness of the latest products of Cisco.
 Technical awareness of deploying and installing the different devices of Cisco in various solutions.

 Be familiar with the installation and the technical side of all the products (software and Hardware).
 Engaging with Cisco for the large scale projects.
 Presenting the different Cisco Solutions to the customers.

 Preparing the technical proposals and documentation for Tenders.

Responsibilities
 Handling 3rd level troubleshooting issues for IP related problems.
 Contacting vendors and following up until problem resolution.
 Timely and High-Quality handling of all subcases dispatched to IOC-Global Queue.
 Minimizing costly actions like Engineer Dispatch and Hardware replacement.
 Use all forms of training provided by Equant to keep up-to-date with existing and new IP services.

Technical Scope
 VPN Architecture: Overlay (LANAS), Routing (IPNet) or MPLS/BGP (ICN).
 Network devices: Cisco Routers or Nortel Contivity Switches.
 Remote Access: X.28 RLA and PPP Dial (ISDN/PSTN).
 Routing Protocols: OSPF, IGRP, EIGRP, BGP4, MPBGP or RIP
 Security Protocols : IPSEC
 Legacy Protocols: DLSW, ALPS, SDLC, IPX, SNA, &
 WAN Protocols: X.25, Frame Relay (FR), ATM. and DSL
 LAN Protocols: VTP, VLANS, ..
 QoS (Quality of Service) or CoS (Class of Service)
 DSL technologies.
 Metro-Ethernet technology.

Responsible on performing the electrical maintenance,
and repairing to the factory machines (CNC machines,
Pistons, Motors, …etc), performing the Backups of the
CNC machines (SALVAGNINI machines) software.
Also, dealing with the spare parts suppliers in Italy.

Network Administrator, and On site support Configuration.
