• I am involved in developing the strategy for investments and business planning initiatives. Execute the new investments and their exit strategy planning. Analysis and due diligence for Private Equity investments, Merger & Acquisitions, Joint Ventures and research for parallel options. • I accomplished various M&A and startup activities in United States of America, Europe and India. I also executed strategies to enter joint ventures and buyouts, business planning for restructuring and turnaround of non-performing businesses, which resulted in a massive cash flow generation from under performing units.
• I manage due diligence process relating to capital transactions, including investigating Capex requirements, checking turnover history/ related turnover rent estimates, reviewing leases/ town planning certificates, and overseeing other legal DD and compliance matters. Acquire all value added information required for potential acquisition purchases. Perform strategic analysis on surrounding areas, demographics, tenants, value-added opportunities, competition and risks.

✓ Establishment primary dealers section to bid in periodical auctions issued by Central Bank of Egypt auctions
(deposits, outright sales of CBE notes, outright sales of CBE certificate of deposits, treasury bills, treasury bonds), and sell positions in secondary markets
✓ Participated in achieving budgeted annual profits required from Treasury Department (FX desk, money market
desk, derivatives, primary dealers) for the year ended 2008. Actual achievement of 620 Million Egyptian Pounds at versus a target of 500 Million Egyptian Pounds
✓ Managed short/ long term liquidity and sourced daily and term cash needs of US $6-8 billion through assessment of micro/ macro-economic factors; included management of the global bank-wide end of day cash
position. Evaluated and managed the interest rate risk of the US $20 billion corporate loan portfolio and strategically sourced funding in a variety of maturities to reflect interest rate and the micro/ macro-economic
outlook.
✓ Implemented and tracked hedging strategies using interest rate futures derivatives markets.Reduced the outstanding amounts between bank branches in all currencies from 200+ million Egyptian pounds in 1999 to 75 thousand Egyptian pounds as end of 2000
