- ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

NEW SITES PLANNING:

 Link Budget Analysis.
 Setting Azimuths, heights and tilts.
 RX-LEV, RX_QUAL, RSRP and RSRQ predictions.
 Coverage and Traffic Maps prediction.
 Validating the site configuration in the field during the technical site survey visit and preparing the Technical Site Survey report.
 Perform site candidate evaluation and selection.
 Verify RF related site engineering drawings.
 Generate RF engineering related reports in Excel, Access, and SQL as required.
 Validating sites sharing request from other operators.
 Using Planning (Asset) tool to input and extract data, in order to generate predictions.
 Defining the suitable hopping strategies and frequencies distribution overall the network.
 Assist in nominal design, system dimensioning, and link budget and traffic analysis.
 Assign the target BSC & LAC for new sites.
 2G/3G/LTE Neighbors Definition.

ON-AIR SITES PLANNING:

 Running calculations to interpret resource requirement for capacity congestion relief.
 Coverage and traffic analysis.
 Antenna optimization (Azimuths, Heights and tilts).
 Database creation and update on weekly basis.
 Manual frequency & neighbor planning for the new sites.
 Scrambling codes tuning.
 Manual frequency tuning of the degraded cells.
 RMS frequency plan (more than 25 RMS FP).
 Network issues detection and deep investigation for the root cause and KPIs monitoring using NPO.
 2G/3G/LTE Neighbors Audit.
 Drive test performing and analysis.
 Frequency plan performing using predictions.
 Usage of PRC Generator to prepare PRC files for the application of frequencies, neighbors & parameters on the OMC.
 Neighbors audit using A9155 tool depending on the HO indicators and RMS.
 Weekly coverage prediction reports.
 Network performance monitoring, daily KPI worst cell analysis and troubleshooting to meet KPIs commitment (SLA).
 Detecting and solving sudden degradations of the KPIs caused by H/W problems, topology changes or radio problems
 Propose different solution for avoiding cell congestion, by TRXs upgrade request and new sites roll out.
 Trigger the need for Densification sites whether for traffic or coverage purpose.
 Analyzing, troubleshoot and solving subscribers complaints.
 Network design audit based on Atoll RNP tool predictions.
