Onshore PGM accountable for the delivery of the onshore mega 3 phases of West Nile Delta project (Taurus-Libra,
Giza-Fayoum &Raven) (13 Billion USD investment). Onshore scope the complex brownfield Giza Fayoum scope and the
new green field Raven facility. Accountabilities and achievements include:
- Safe Start-up of the Taurus-Libra scope 8 months ahead of schedule.
- Safe Start-up of the Giza-Fayoum scope 8 months ahead of schedule.
- Safe Mechanical compilation and commissioning of Raven Scope
- Managing the integrated West Nile Delta project agenda, enhancing BP's relationships with key external
stakeholders (MoP, EEAA, EGAS, EGPC, National Contractors, Military, Governor of ElBeheira, NGOs, RWE,
and other regulatory authorities)
- Performance managing the EPC contractor (BECTHEL) for the delivery of the onshore scope.
- Lead all activities related to engineering, construction, commissioning to deliver the onshore scope.
- Support to Business Development activities (DA agreements) for the Nile Delta.
- Lead WND Appraisal and Development Plans for future phases.
BP Egypt Board member in NIDOCO, MEDGAS, PETROTEMSAH & PETROSHOROUK JV’s (

of Natural Gas Network Department, Egyptian Natural Gas Company, GASCO, 2006.
- Lead the department responsible for the national gas grid throughout Egypt, including designing new
pipelines and analyzing the tie-in of new supplies and off takes for the new demand.
- Undertake the feasibility studies for new gas markets inside and outside Egypt (South Sinai-Egypt, Aqaba-
Jordan), nominated for this project by the Minister of Petroleum.
- Preparing the five-year plan for pipeline projects for the national gas network working closely with Egas and
MoP to ensure the necessary new supporting pipelines were ready on time.
- FEED engineering for the Arab gas Pipeline (Egypt - Jordan - Lebanon - Syria) and choosing pipeline routing.
- Feasibility studies for conducting natural gas to Upper Egypt, South Sinai, Aqabah in Jordan (collecting and
analyzing consumer data, designing the required facilities; supporting commercial aspects of the project

- Natural gas network planning and analysis.
- Designing new major pipelines for the national gas grid (Idku/Dammite 32- 165 km; Tina/Mit nama 32”/167
km), FEED engineering for the pipelines and choosing pipeline routing
- Designing the new tie-in of new gas fields to the national gas grid (south mansora; BG new fields at Idku,
north Sinai), choosing the location of tie-in to ensure the full flexibility of the natural gas grid
- Designing the off-takes of major demands to the national gas grid (Damietta LNG; Noubaria PSTN; Idku
ELNG): designing the off-takes layout and location.

Responsible for designing, executing and commissioning the HVAC systems (heating,
ventilation and air conditioning) working closely with a team of architectural and civil
engineers to ensure interface management in order to deliver a complete project.
* The major projects delivered during this period: Cabinet headquarters, Nile City Towers,
Novartis Farma factory, and the Four Seasons hotel at Sharm el Sheikh)
