◦ Serve customers by managing documents, information, and
financial transactions successfully and in an organized, efficient,
and secure manner.
◦ Build awareness of new products and services, and identify
customer needs to capitalize on the business referral
opportunities.
◦ Meet and exceed bank service standards, greeting and
acknowledging each customer warmly, and making them feel
welcome while complying with bank procedures and security
protocols.
◦ Work as a team with other tellers to complete daily tasks,
demonstrating respect and professionalism, being prompt, and
supporting management with any special request as needed.
◦ Reconcile cash drawers at the end of your shift, count and
package coins and currency, turn in any excess or damaged
currency to the head teller.
◦ Track, record, report, and store transactional information and
special requests.
◦ Provide a high level of customer service, providing answers and
assistance with a smile.
◦ Handle account transactions for customers, including check
cashing, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments,
cashier’s checks, and opening and closing accounts.
Contacts prospective clients about insurance products and
policies.
◦ Meets with potential clients to discuss the adequacy of existing
insurance coverage and related financial resources.
◦ Explains various insurance policies and products to potential
and existing clients; guides clients in selecting coverage to best
meet their needs.
◦ Suggests modifications and updates to the client's existing
insurance policies.
◦ Builds customized insurance policies and packages to meet
clients' needs.
◦ Processes insurance policy renewals.
◦ Assists clients with filing insurance claims.
◦ Maintains print and electronic records and files as required.
◦ Performs other related duties as assigned.
