• Supporting development and production database by providing technical assistance to development and operation team.
• Handle day-to-day 24x7 production database operations.
• Installation, configure and patch production database on large Unix/Linux systems consisting of Real Application Cluster of multiple nodes with multiple production databases
• Minimum downtime database migration from single instance database to RAC database using Oracle Dataguard
• Zero downtime cross platform database migration and upgrade using Oracle GoldenGate.
• Troubleshooting any issues using alert log file, ASH report, AWR report, ADDM report, OEM, and custom script by analyzing CPU and Memory usage, I/O performance, identify statistics collection status, identify top SQL statements, Query Execution Plan, Wait Event, Blocking, Long Operation.
• Perform database performance analysis and fine tuning
• Communicate with Oracle Support when issue can’t be resolved.
• Backup and recovery using RMAN
• Monitor database growth and allocate physical data storage for database systems
• Ensuring housekeeping and space usage monitoring of all database systems.
• Apply patch, including PSU and CPU, on Grid Infrastructure and Database
• EBS R12.1 Patching
