Review all design drawings, specifications and bill of quantities for any correctness and any discrepancies or/and omissions should be brought to the office with recommended corrective action.
To review Electrical designs to ensuring compliance with project scope and applicable codes and standards. Review contractor-submitted shop and as-built drawings, method statements, material submittals, tie-in procedures, project schedules, and work permits. Coordinate with the contractors, Conducting work inspections to ensure that the works are carried out according to the contract, applicable codes, standards, approved drawings and specifications. Monitor and expedite contractor's procurement of material and report to Project Management for any delays related to critical items. Ensure equipment compliance with package electrical, structural & instrument specifications, as well as applicable code requirements and national / international standards. Providing timely approvals of contractor’s submittals. Record keeping, filing systems and closing out of the contracts in accordance with MOD procedures and regulations.
