Project Manager at GPX Internet Data Center, Cairo II Project

An American investment by GPX; construction of Tier IV internet data center that is considered one
of the most sophisticated in MENA region. My role was to lead the project management efforts on/off
site through project lifecycle (Design, Tender, & Construction) until closure. Also, to act in capacity
of “The Engineer” as per FIDIC contracts, on behalf of my employer.
Marsa Alam Pure WOW Beach Resort, PM. Main Responsibilities not limited to but include:
• Direct and manage project development from initiating and through project lifecycle.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans including HR, procurement, schedule, budget, communication and quality plans.
• Work with others on required permits and governmental approvals.
• Conduct recruitments during project cycle.
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

• Coordination of all technical activities.
• Plans, schedules, conduct, and coordinate assigned engineering work.
• Monitor work for compliance to applicable codes and accepted engineering practices.
• Project engineering schedules and forecasts.
• Coordination and checking of engineering deliverables.
• Project status reports and change orders.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals.
• Budget monitoring and trend tracking.
• Participating in Client/Partner/Contractor meetings and resolving engineering and management project issues.
Perform field surveys, reporting and LOS analysis; supporting Access transmission engineers planning and implementations of MW connections.
