Working as Lead Planning/Project Engineer for Construction and Maintenance Projects

My current role with employer is Fabrication, construction and maintenance planning along with control function for the
various projects as well as at tendering stage. I am reporting to General Manager
Job Responsibilities:
o Establish integrated project management processes, systems, policies and procedures for PMO office
o Prepare project management plan, governance framework and methodologies in line with company policy
and procedures and per PMI best practices and standards
o Preparation of operational and financial DASHBOARD for executive office on bi-weekly and monthly basis
o Preparation of detailed project schedule with resource and cost loading up to Level-4 and perform “What If
Analysis where is required
o Develop comprehensive project & resource management plans along with scope, cost and time baselines
o Assistance in preparation of FIDIC contracts and its administration over entire lifecycle
o Develop estimates, budget, cash flow, ETC, Estimate at Completion (EAC) forecast periodically
o Project performance measurement using Earned Value Management matrices defined and agreed with
sponsor at planning phase
o Develop the “Change Control Procedures” and its implementation in case of its need in close cooperation
with Contract Manager
o Cost and Schedule variance analysis and recommend adjustments to adhere with baselines
o Develop Recovery plan for problems should they arise and accelerated plan on client request
o Perform Qualitative risk analysis, risk register and mitigation plans
o Progress reporting using S-Curves and management presentations
o Stakeholders engagement and change management
o Forensic delay analysis, quantum calculations and preparation of EOT & COST claims
o Project Closeout as per set procedures in the contract and company’s policies and procedures
