Job Role:
• Developing procurement strategies with workstream leads.
• Assisting and compiling initial long and short lists of vendors/suppliers.
• Running and managing the procurement process.
• Coordinating with supplier for availability of materials and schedule dispatch dates.
• Being the focal point of contact for all matters relating to the acquisition of goods and services for a project during the proposal process.
• Providing the necessary written, graphic, and pricing/cost information in support of the proposal process.
• Schedule and track inbound and outgoing shipments,
• Coordinating with freight forwarders and taking necessary approvals for Hazard materials if any in shipments.
• Heading the overall functioning of the Group - Freight Forwarding, Shipping &Liner Operations, Clearance Warehousing, Courier, Transport and Container Division.
• Prepare weekly reconciliation reports detailing all shipping and receiving activity to be shared with the management team.
• Once shipments received in warehouse making necessary SAP entries and delivering the materials to clients.
