Reporting directly to the minister and Managing a team of Five Information Technology Engineers in developing an HR management system serving three million users in the public sector and offers other G2G services as part of the transformation the government is leading towards a fully E-government in Syria, as a project manager I was responsible of the project planning, team management, project deliverables tracking, and quality management, and as part of the team, I was handling the system requirements analysis and designing the “blueprint” and the database structure of the system so the IT engineers can start coding.

What started as a part-time job transformed into a full-time job as a team-member (Business Analyst role) of an operational and technical team led by the minister directly, the team was working on organizational improvement for the public sector developing organizational structures, job descriptions, procedures simplifications, and Business Process Improvements.
As a Business Analyst, I was specialized in Creating, analysing and validating detailed functional specification (As is) for the services provided by the government, Creating “As is” flow charts, activity diagrams and workflow diagrams, I was also in charge of creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems and figuring out opportunities for improvements in business processes and providing possible solutions for each ministry, a detailed requirements analysis was conducted for each proposed solution.
I was in charge of managing the supplies procurement process and developing our suppliers’ database and to ensure long term partnership with our major suppliers in terms that can make both parties satisfied, Also, I was in charge of the in-house operations, which includes staff management, shifts scheduling, inventory management, and other restaurant’s operations.
Reporting directly to the general manager, I was in charge of the supplying operations between China and Syria, which included import and export operations, storage management, and other day to day activities, Also, as part of my job description, I was in charge of business process analysis and improvement and data analysis to suggest a new supplying plan for better customer experience.
