• Lead and manages the Economic Recovery team (including people planning, performance, well-being and development)
• Ensure effective planning, sharing tasks to the team, and supervision of tasks according to timeline and standards
• Ensure quality implementation of the Economic Recovery activities
• Ensure daily monitoring of activities and teams
• Assess the daily quality of activities
• Lead the implementation of economic recovery programming in the field (including cash modalities therein) ensuring a high level of quality in line with DRC’s quality standards
• Support the Program Manager and program team in planning and implementing project activities to meet project deliverables based on timeline and scope agreed with the donor;
• Oversee the successful implementation of program activities, ensuring that officers and assistants are following work plans, that activities are on schedule, and that program deliverables are completed as committed;
• Contribute to data collection tools, assessments and mapping reports, as an integral part of the program;
• Conduct field assessments, make recommendations about the needs and vulnerabilities of the target populations in the program objectives;
• Provide day-to-day oversight and coordination, including administrative, financial and logistical support; Troubleshoot any administrative problems and report any challenges or bottlenecks to Program Manager;
• Lead the management and implementation of the BPRM Livelihood component, to facilitate key deliverables and achieve targets, including the management of community mobilization, committees and sites selection processes, and identification of priorities.
• Detailed oversight and tracking of the Livelihood component budget.
• Complete Livelihood component financial planning ensuring participation in the monthly projections and budget reviews.
• Lead on project identification through transparent coordination with municipality members and mayors. Clearly communicate with stakeholders any changes to plans.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs to select appropriate beneficiaries, relevant community improvements, timely skills training, and have smooth working relationships with municipalities throughout.
• Implementing Livelihood projects in South Lebanon
• Supervising on daily basis all Livelihood activities in South Lebanon
• Coordinate all LIP activities related to the livelihood component, including area selection, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) preparation and signatures, laborers’ identification with key stakeholders and predetermined criteria, community mobilization and prioritization activities, and coordination;
