Assisted in improving bank's results through booking quality credits and successfully restructuring / existing from marginal credits. Moreover, I was the only member assigned to provide technical aid to Remedial team in their recovery efforts.
•Maintained performing portfolio with NPL ratio below 2%. This was done by having close monitoring on the assigned accounts with weaknesses being noted and addressed immediately.
•Designated the contact point for internal audit and managed to reduce their observations.
•Designed IT report that helped the RM and CM in their assessment like account activity report that showed summary of credit transactions excluding credits made by Bank and returned cheques on the account (inward / outward).
in wholesale Credit Approval division (previously called Credit Risk Management), reporting directly to Chief Credit Officer and performed the following duties:
•Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessment of credit proposals submitted by Wholesale Banking Division for Mid and large companies with revenues of AED +250M.
•Strong knowledge in financing international credits for companies / projects domiciled in Kazakhstan and in KSA.
•Experienced in handling Project Finance, Trade Finance and work-out credits with extensive knowledge in companies operating in various sectors like Retail & Wholesale trading, Manufacturing, Contracting, Real Estate, Services and GREs.
•Successfully negotiated credit structure with business unit and clients to ensure best serving of clients' financial needs without compromising bank's position.
•Made sure that credit note has highlighted all risks, provided mitigants and is finalized within the agreed TAT and SLA before presenting credit views in the Credit and Investment Committee.
•Conduct periodical accounts reviews to identify weaknesses and suggest appropriate strategies /remedy actions.
•Examine the adequacy financial spreading in Moody's and risk rating generated. Recommend upgrade/ downgrade to risk rating and provisions.
•Ensure all proposals are complying with the Bank's internal credit policy, Central Bank of UAE guidelines and deviations if any are highlighted with justifications.
•Assist Remedial team in their portfolio, negotiate recovery / restructuring with clients and help in reducing NPL accounts.
Worked in Credit & Risk Management Division handling credit proposals for medium & large Corporate customers with revenues of AED +150M and operating in various sectors in UAE like Trading, Manufacturing, Contracting and GRE's, provide recommendations for final decision.
Acting as Team Leader with direct reporting to Head of Credit and my main duties were:
Assist Head -CRM in the daily functions of Credit Risk Management Department, deputize him during his absence and represent the department in meetings with higher management.
Secretary of the Investment & Credit Committee and Coordinator for the Credit Committee 1 & 2.
Supervise and provide training & guidance to Credit Risk Officers ensuring in-depth analysis is exercised while underwriting credit proposals received from Retail, SME & Wholesale Banking Divisions.

My duties were to assess proposals for new / existing SME companies. Identified risks and provide mitigants and then present it in the credit committee.
My duties were to underwrite credit proposals for Real Estate, SME's, Mid and large corporate. Write credit recommendations before escalating it for higher management's decision.
My duties were to evaluate retail credit proposals, ensure they are in line with credit policy and deviations if any are highlighted before escalating it for decision maker.
My duties were to mainly to assist in handling all branch operations duties including monitoring general ledger accounts, checking financing files and securities before lodging them in the vault.
